I stopped on Nino's name and stared at my phone for a little bit. I wasn't hesitating, I was just thinking of the best approach. I started to think about the notes I left for all of the Quints and how I finished the notes.

Y/N: But, Itsuki, I can't choose you.

Y/N: But, Yotsuba, I can't choose you.

Y/N: But, Miku, I can't choose you.

Y/N: But, Ichika, I can't choose you.

Y/N: But, Nino, I think I finally made a choice.

**Nino's the one I chose.**

I took out my phone and texted Nino to come meet me at a nearby beach. I made my way over there and waited.

**It was you, Nino. I love all of you girls, but I'm only in love with one of you. It took me a while to realize it, but you're the one I'm in love with.**

The beach was empty because it wasn't exactly beach weather outside, but I still felt the best while I was there. I never got a reply from Nino, and I was starting to think that she read my letter, but didn't care.

**I messed up with her badly... To think she put in all that effort to show how much she loves me, but I didn't immediately reciprocate that... Stupid, idiot, dumb, fool, Y/N...**

After a while of waiting, I decided to throw in the towel and get up to leave. As I was preparing to go, I saw Nino off in the distance. She slowly walked along by herself. I couldn't see her too well, but she looked as if she was lost in thought and or conflicted about things. She also didn't have any destination in mind.

**Was she already here? No, that would be a strange coincidence. She definitely saw my text snd showed up. Why hasn't she come to look for me, though?**

Y/N: Nin!-

I stopped myself and watched her. Something about the way she was moving made me sad. I quickly got up and ran over to her. I accidentally scared her by grabbing her arm.

Y/N: There you are, Butterflies!

Nino: Y- Y-kun?! Wh-What are you doing here?

Y/N: Stop it... I know you saw my message and showed up. I wanted to see you.

She pulled away.

Nino: What the heck?! Is this your idea of pity?

Y/N: What..?

Nino: P-Plus, I'm only trying to see if my sisters are around here...

Y/N: I only called you out. You don't trust me?

She squinted at me.

Y/N: Fine, I'm busted... Come on out, Itsuki!

Nino: I knew it!-

Y/N: Joking... It's just us. Come on, sit with me. Let's talk.

I stared off into the ocean for a bit and then sat down on the sand. She stared down at me as I sat there and didn't say a word.

Nino: Talk about what..?

Y/N: Sorry. I don't really know. I just wanted to be alone with you right now, honestly.
