I was on my way to school the next morning. This was part of my daily schedule, so normally I'd be fine, but I couldn't help but feel uneasy. Itsuki was walking behind me at a safe distance to not have people assume we were walking together.

Y/N: You're getting me nervous doing that-

Itsuki hid behind a pole when I turned around.

Itsuki: Don't talk to me out in public! People are going to think we're walking to school together.

I kept walking and she followed behind.

Y/N: Look, I don't care if you come to school from my place, but stop acting so shady... It's making me feel nervous for some reason.

I looked back and saw her carrying her bag.

Y/N: And when did you even have time to get that?

Itsuki: I bumper into Yotsuba yesterday and had her bring them to me.

Y/N: You had her bring your school supplies, but not your purse..?

Itsuki: I had the same thought later, but Yotsuba seemed busy.

Y/N: I wonder what she's up to... She wasn't home yesterday, either.

Itsuki: Huh? Nobody told you?

Y/N: Told me what?

Itsuki: Yotsuba's signed up to help the track team.

Y/N: What..? She did what?!

We went to school and passed the day by as usual. I didn't see Nino at school, so I just assumed she was skipping.

**All of you are gonna get it! But first things first. Where's Yotsuba at?!**

I went out to the athletics wing after school to see if I'd catch Yotsuba over there. After a while of searching around, I saw Yotsuba exiting the gym in her track uniform. I ran over to her and caught her by the ribbon on her head.

Y/N: Yotsuba! Why did you sign up for the track team at a time like this?! Do you have any idea how dire things are?!

Yotsuba: I'm sorry!

I let go of the ribbon.

Yotsuba: I turned them down once, but they said they wouldn't be able to make it into the marathon without me.

I sighed and fixed her ribbon.

Y/N: You're too nice to everybody... You've got to learn when to say no or else people will try to walk all over you.

Yotsuba: Sorry for keeping it a secret.

Y/N: You should quit. You're making things harder on yourself.

Yotsuba: Trust me, I am working hard on your problem sets when I'm at home.

Y/N: Yeah, but... You're probably overloading yourself-

A girl on the track team waved over to Yotsuba.

Girl: Nakano-san, practice is about to resume.

Yotsuba: Okay!

She turned to me.

Yotsuba: I'll do my best, okay?

I let her run off.

**I'll scold her later. At least she said she's doing the problem sets. The ones who I need to worry about right now are Nino and Itsuki... I can't believe Nino's skipping school.**

I headed back up to the front of the school to leave and caught Nino exiting the building.

**Huh? Maybe she isn't skipping.**
