Breathtaking was the only word that Jade could muster that described the beauty of Omega 5. It looked like a castle with multiple pillars, a large drawbridge, and various stained glass windows. The grand architectural design of Omega 5 impressed for miles. Upon entering, lush red carpets extended in different directions, leading down various hallways that stretched so far she couldn't see where they ended—awards, plaques, trophies, articles, and artwork from students who attended decorated the walls. Alex pulled the cart in with their luggage and guided her toward the dorms.

They walked by several students who never turned from their conversations to look at her—being able to blend in brought Jade a tremendous sense of comfort. Several rushed over to Alex gushing their love for him and his music. After his niceties, they made another turn, hundreds of doors now in front of them. Alex pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket and looked around. "Hallway F. It looks like you're in the last room. That's a nice easy exit to the Courtyard." They walked down the hallway. A group of students laughed, dressed in beautiful dresses and suits.

Meanwhile, others came out with books in hand and comfortable clothes. Whispers surrounded them as Alex walked down the hall. Alex stopped in front of the last room on the right with the initials "J.F" on the door.

"For me?" Jade questioned. Alex nodded, reached back in his pocket, and pulled out two keys. He handed one to her and used the other to open the room. He flipped the switch and rolled the luggage in. Jade gasped for air, the room exceeding even her most optimistic expectations. The massive room has a large bed, two nightstands in the back, and a couch with a smaller table further up—a desk topped with papers and books. There was a small kitchenette with seating at the counter, a massive bathroom to the left, and another door to the far right corner.

"I did have that stocked for you," Alex said, gesturing to the door. Jade crossed over to it. Her breathing grew heavy at the sight of dozens of dresses, outfits, shoes, hats, and bags; anything she could desire to wear was there.

"Alex, what. I can't accept all this, I-."

"Well, I certainly can't wear them, so I guess you're stuck with them," he shrugged. "Do you like it?"

"Yeah," her voice whispered, her eyes enlarged as she ran her hands over the different materials. "Yeah, Alex, I love it. Thank you." She rushed over and laid her head on his chest. He wrapped his arms around her as her arm made it difficult to finish the gesture. "But, you don't have to keep making these grand gestures. I promise I forgive you."

"I know, I want to do them. Besides, I think you deserve a bit of luxury, don't you?" She rolled her eyes, resulting in a smirk from Alex. They spent some time unloading their boxes. "Why don't you go pick out something to wear? We need to go visit the Dean's office."

"Sure," Jade enthused, rushing back to the closet, eager to rummage through the outfits. Jade chose a white blouse cut off on one shoulder, making it easier to put on with her arm. The other sleeve covered her arm, including the tattoo on her collarbone. She picked a black skirt that hung above her knees with matching shoes. She smiled in the large mirror that the back of the door held. Clothes like this were beyond her wildest dreams, yet she was wearing them, blending in with Arcs. "How's this?" Jade asked Alex, crossing out of the closet.

Alex looked up, dropping the bag he was unloading on the ground. Her face warmed at the reaction. "Wow," he stammered, "Yeah, that looks good." He cleared his throat, picking the bag back up. "Um, so you ready to find out your ability?"

"Right now?" Jade chewed her nail as the smile she had a moment ago faded.

Alex crossed to her, "Everything will be okay, I promise." Jade nodded. Alex and her left the room. They stopped at Alex's empty dorm to drop off the rest of the luggage before proceeding to the office of the Dean. When they approached the door, it opened before they could even knock. The room was magnificent. Bookshelves lined every wall, all of them filled to the brim. Several seating areas were arranged around a large wooden desk. A man sitting behind the desk glanced up and smiled at them.
