Topaz led her back out onto the enormous battlefield. Jade positioned herself, closing her eyes and readying for his instructions.

"Now, deep breath in, hold for 10 seconds, release. Don't stop. Begin now." Topaz instructed her. Jade began to follow his instructions. He massaged her extended hand, but he did not tell her to stop. Jade focused on her breathing, ignoring everything else until Topaz said otherwise. He closed his eyes, placing two fingers on her forehead, joining the same rhythmic pattern. "Your mind is powerful. Now, I want you to let the energy flow through you." Jade steadied her breaths and focused on the energy of her aura. Even with her eyes shut, the brightness from her aura caused some irritation.

"I can feel it," Jade whispered.

"Good, now I want you to focus on the wind. Listen to the sound it makes as it causes the tree's leaves to rustle, feel it against your face, as it moves strands of your hair." She did as he instructed. "Now, grab onto its energy." Jade reached forward, her eyes remained shut, and she focused on her breathing. The wind began circling Jade's hand, the small gust following her energy as she directed it, her body absorbing it. She released her breath, feeling her aura expanding. "Excellent, now, gently, release it," Topaz instructed.

Jade opened her eyes. She moved her wrist in slow movements, a small amount of wind leaving her fingertips, turning her wrist more a considerable amount left, her eyes focused on the flowers she planted, she released the wind to let the flowers sway gently.

"Now, try and send a larger amount underneath you." Jade looked over at Topaz and nodded. Taking a large breath, she returned her focus. The wind retreated into her aura. Keeping her focus on her aura, she flicked her wrist and shot a large amount of wind underneath her. She steadied it as it raised her feet off the ground. After refocusing, the initial lift off the ground was shaky, but she managed to levitate with precision. Opening her eyes, she smiled down at Topaz, who nodded approvingly. She carefully made her way down, letting the wind guide her back to the safety of the ground. "While the concept of abilities is simple. Healing, Wind, Water, etc., it's what we learn to do with it and the way we use it that makes it complex. That's what sets apart the good from the extraordinary wielders."

"You think I'm extraordinary?" Jade asked.

"Absolutely," Topaz smiled, "you're only going to become more extraordinary as you master the new abilities around you. You see, Jade, while you were identified as a healer, as a multi-wielder, your true power is called Absorption, like mine. You can heal because you can absorb damage from others and mend it, but you can also absorb qualities from things around you, such as the flower you first found and now the wind. The possibilities are limitless."

Jade released a breath. Topaz came over and placed a hand on her stomach as he demonstrated the breathing techniques for her to copy. "I feel guilty," she admitted. Topaz removed his hand, his eyes narrowing in concern. "It's just the longer I don't tell my dad, I feel like I'm purposely keeping a secret."

"Okay, then why don't we get you over to Solsper to see him?" The Enlightened smiled. "We could bring him here, but I figure it may be good to do it in a place of comfort first?"

"Yeah, I think that would be the best plan. Thank you."

"Of course, but remember that I can't wait to meet him."

"I know," Jade smiled, "I can't wait for the two of you to meet. Um, Topaz." He turned to her, his smile steady. "I'm happy you found me."

"Me too. Now, come." Topaz led her inside, and he called upon his staff and brought forth one of his transporters. "This is Juliet, and she will take you to Solsper. Have a safe trip."

"It is an honor to transport you, my Light," Juliet said, bowing her head. Jade's eyes widened at the title. She returned the bow of respect and held on to Juliet's hands as they teleported. "I will be back tomorrow to return you." She explained as they landed on Solsper soil.

"Thank you," Jade said. She turned towards Solsper. The last time Jade was here, she was not at her best. Now this time, she had to tell her father not only did she find her birth father but also that she is a multi-wielder. And she definitely couldn't leave out that her birth father is the Enlightened, making her the new princess of Findere. "Yeah, simple," Jade said to herself as she made her way to their home. Jade stood a moment outside of the front door. She took a deep breath before knocking. Jade looked around, unable to stop fidgeting as she waited. The door opened, and Amorio froze seeing her.

"Jade?" A large smile overcame him, then followed by concern. "Wait, is everything okay? Why are you here?"

"Yes, everything is okay," she embraced him. He held her as she held on too long. "Everything is okay, but I have some stuff to talk to you about."

"Okay," Amorio said, his breath shaky. He stepped aside, letting her in and shutting the door behind her. "Craig," Amorio called. Craig came down the stairs, his eyes widening seeing her.

"Jade!" Craig dropped the laundry he was holding and rushed over to her, embracing her tight. "Look at you. Omega 5 is treating you well," he said, admiring her."

"Yeah, no yeah, it's been great. Let's sit down," Jade said, her nerves reaching her stomach. They all took a seat, Jade on a chair that faced the couch they both sat on. "So, there is no easy way to say this, so I'm just going to say it."

"You're pregnant, aren't you," Amorio said, "it's okay. Who's it? We can help you-."

"No, no, dad," Jade laughed, "I'm not pregnant. Maybe the simplest thing to start with is that I found my birth father." The room went silent.

"I didn't know you were seeking him?" Amorio responded, his voice soft.

"I wasn't. I should've phrased it that my birth father found me. Dad, Craig," Jade swallowed her nerves. She took a deep breath, "the Enlightened is my birth father." They both stared at her, neither saying a word. Amorio opened his mouth, but she interjected, "I swear to you, I'm serious." He closed his mouth. She started to explain everything else to him. Starting from her mother's loyalties to the Solutin's, Jade's multi-wielding, her Absorption powers, and she was Findere's Princess." When she finished, they both stared at her. "Please say something," she whispered.

"Well, um, okay," Amorio took a deep breath. "I- am at a loss for words, Jade. Well, it's quite a lot to take in, but now that I hear it, it makes sense. Your mother often would duck out for weeks at a time. There were always strange conversations I'd walk into, just many things that I ignored because I loved her, and of course, I love you."

"I love you too, Dad," Jade said, her eyes watering. "You're not angry with me, are you?"

"Angry?" Amorio shook his head and extended his hands to touch her knees. "No, I'm so proud of you. I'm a bit overwhelmed, but um, wow. Princess of Findere," he said, shaking his head. "What a lucky kingdom." Jade smiled, her eyes lighting up at his words.

"So, um, I'd like you both to meet Topaz, erm- the Enlightened. He tells me to call him Topaz," Jade ranted. "He said if you're up for it, we could all have lunch tomorrow at the castle? Dinner too, but we're having my friends over, who I'd also love for you to meet."

"Um, wow, this is happening fast," Amorio laughed. He turned to Craig, who nodded his head. "Yeah, of course, love. We would love to have lunch and dinner with the Enlightened and Findere's newest and most beautiful Princess."

"Look at our little girl," Craig replied. Jade glanced away, overwhelmed by the attention. "So, which friends are going to be there?"

"Oh, well. My new friends Amelia and Joe, and then Alex, of course. Erm-. Well, Edge. I mean, hoping they all accept the invitation."

"Edge?" Amorio lit up. "So, how's that going?"

"It's new right now, and I don't want to jinx anything." Jade bowed her head shyly. "Alex may be seeing Joe, and I don't know."

"Wait, Alex may be seeing Joe?" Amorio asked. "Is Joe short for anything?"

"Joe's a guy, dad," Jade sighed. "All I know is that Joe is a great guy, and well, I hope Alex can be happy." Amorio grimaced. "I know Alex isn't your favorite guy, but can we just keep it civil?"

"Of course, we can," Craig interjected, patting Amorio's knee. "Now come on, let's get you something to eat."
