Jade, Joe, and Amelia conversed on their way to class. Alex and Edge left earlier that morning, their class schedule starting to shift away from theirs. Offensive powers needed longer practice time, while the support class didn't require further practice. When they entered the class, they all became silent and saw their peers having the same reaction. At the front of the class, the Enlightened himself conversed with Professor Q. They turned to one another, their eyes wide as they rushed to their seats, not wanting to be the only ones standing.

The Enlightened, the King of Findere, the Thousand Year King, whatever you called him, he was the most powerful man in the entire kingdom, and here he was conversing with their professor as if they were old friends. He wore a handsome black suit and dozens of jewelry pieces dazzling with gemstones of all varieties. When he started to turn his attention to the class, Jade couldn't stand the idea of her insignificant eyes meeting him. Jade kept her eyes on her desk. One lesson she always kept close to her was never to look someone in the eye who you were lesser than. It was something she tried to break herself of since coming here, but in this case, she wouldn't even try to pretend her eyes were worth meeting his own.

"Good morning, class. As you may have noticed, we have the most extraordinary visitor today! The Enlightened himself decided to pay a visit to our class. Earlier today, he visited the offensive classes and is now making his way through the support ones. Now let us stand and bow to our king." Jade stood with her class and bowed.

"Now, that's enough," the Enlightened said, his voice deep and kinder than she expected. They all took a seat. Jade kept her eyes on her desk. "Each year, more and more Omega 5 students join my Dark Eclipse army, and with each passing year, I'm more and more impressed with the talent that comes from here. "However, while I wish I could say I came to visit to be amazed at the talent, please let there be no mistake, I am amazed. But this time, I came because we've had a larger measure of energy this year than we've ever had before. Sometimes this occurs from a new power making itself known, sometimes a powerful family with siblings close to the same age, there are many reasons why this surge may have occurred, but there were readings worth checking out this year. Readings that perhaps we may have a student amongst you who has the potential to be one of the strongest to ever graduate from this school. I considered having some of my officers stationed here to observe. Still, after the hyper readings, I received this week, I can see this student is working very hard to improve their power, and I am just eager to find them. After failed attempts in the offensive classes, I am making my way through Support. So, for this reason, I've asked your Professor here if we could change today's curriculum. Today I will observe your course and see if I feel that reading comes from this room. I've been to quite a few today and have yet to. There is great potential to find who I'm looking for within your class. So, please, as difficult as it may be, please try and act as though I'm not here."

"Thank you, your Enlightened," Professor Q. said, bowing. The Enlightened returned the bow and took a seat in the front corner of the room, at least that's what his shoes told Jade. Her body shook, she tried so desperately to focus on her breathing, to practice all of her calming techniques, but nothing was settling her nerves.

Joe placed his hand atop hers and mimicked, taking a deep breath. She did as he showed her. "You are supposed to be here, Jade," he whispered. He must've understood her panic after their talk the other day.

Professor Q's lesson explained the different energy levels as the Enlightened explained. We all mimicked his hand movements. "Break into groups, focus on your mediation and bring that aura energy forward. It will help the Enlightened discover if that special student could be in this class," Professor Q. smiled, saying the phrase with some excitement.

"It's okay," Joe said, helping Jade calm her nerves. "Nothing bad is going to happen, okay?" She nodded. "Now, close your eyes, and focus as usual."

Jade did as Joe directed. She focused intensely on her breathing until thoughts of the Enlightened subsidized and her focus could return. Her aura grew in sync with her breathing. She could feel the warmth of her energy flow through her, the familiarity of her healing surging through her, then a hint of the dew energy she grasped from her flower. She was unsure if that feeling was a coincidence or if there was something more to it. Jade raised her hands, her eyes closed, focusing on the energy as it surged through her. She released her breath and started to open her eyes. She froze, seeing the suit of the Enlightened standing in front of her. Her eyes remained on his tie.
