Part 14: Cody

I smiled happily. "We'll call him Cody.", I replied. The nurse smiled happily, seemingly loving that name.
Cody looked at me, then his mother, and then he gave us a bright, cute, toothless smile. I nearly passed out from the cuteness of this bean, Notch chuckled weakly. Cody snuggled up to Notchy's chest, tiredly yawning. His mother didn't mind that at all, nuzzling his son and keeping him safe. I stayed next to them both and sat down, watching in awe as our child fell asleep.
The nurse left, and I stayed with my partner. I noticed Notchy looking very tired, so I told him to sleep. To my surprise he gladly did so, no complaining for once. Either he wasn't in the mood for taunting me, or he was just really tired.
Either way, I was really glad that he just went to sleep.
I kissed his forehead when he was finally asleep, smiling softly. Then I just watched them for the rest of the stay.

A few days later we were allowed to leave. I brought Notchy home, being allowed to carry Cody. Said little boy was excited to see the world, staring at everything with big eyes. Notch was really glad about that.
We went inside the house and I immediately noticed that the mood was different. Everyone was incredibly cheerful and seemingly excited for something. First thing I noticed is that Red and Hero were missing. Second thing was that Althea and Zeph were missing, but I thought they were with Nightmare.
However, shortly after we saw what was truly making everyone that excited.
Red came down the stairs first, making sure there was enough space at the bottom. Next came Althea, she went straight over to Jubilea and Xander, hugging latter one. Xander picked her up and let her watched, Jubilea had Hazel after all.
And eventually, Hero came down with Zeph, who was carrying Nighty down the stairs.
I was very surprised and glanced over to Notchy, but he seemed just as confused. Hero helped his friend stand when Zeph carefully put Nighty down, being on his other side.
Nighty needed a while to regain his sense of balance. He took a few deep breaths and held onto the two people on either of his sides, taking a few, very slow and gentle steps. I was immediately ready to step in, so was Notchy. However, Nightmare managed to make his way to the living room, where he sat down, already exhausted.
The others watched closely before starting to cheer happily. Entity_303 handed him a glass of water, having visited as well. Libi, Xalphire, Jerry and Shadow were finally here too, it's been a long time since I last saw them. I smiled and waved at them, and they waved back happily.
Nighty took the glass and drank some of the water, leaning back. "This feels really odd...", he admitted. I smiled. "I bet it does. But hey, at least you can walk!", I replied. He nodded slowly. "Yeah, at least something."
Jerry was already next to me, awwing and playing with Cody, who happily giggled and hugged her fingers. Shadow watched softly, smiling. The two were a couple since a long time now, however haven't even thought of making the step towards marriage. Honestly, that's kinda disappointing. They'd make a great couple.
I smiled at that thought and glanced over to Notchy, who looked both relieved and tired. Noticing why, I apologized and left with my love, going to the bedroom. Jerry didn't mind at all, waving a small bye to Cody as we left. Cody held onto me and waved back, giggling.
I brought Notchy to the bedroom and set our baby down in the little crib that was put there for him. Then I went back to my partner and let him lie down the soft bed. Notchy did just that, yawning a bit. "Those days were way too stressful...", he mumbled tiredly. I nodded and kissed his head softly. "But it's all gonna be fine now, babe.", I replied. He giggled weakly, snuggling up to me. "I really hope so, sweetheart."
I lied down next to him and pulled him close so his back was against my chest. He didn't mind at all seemingly, holding onto my arms softly. I smiled and softly kissed his neck, immediately sending a shiver down his spine. He visibly grew excited, but hid it under the blanket. I smiled and sneakily put my hand onto his lap, gripping it softly. He let out a gasp and went fully red, glancing at me. I showed him to stay quiet as I gently massaged his pride. He struggled to stay silent, a few groans escaping him every once in a while. After a while however his sounds got a lot louder and he started to slightly grip my arms tighter, a small pant rising in him. I knew he still had that cage on, so I kept playing with him until he tensed up and whimpered softly, both in pain and pleasure. I kept that up for a while until he was fully tense, covering his mouth so his moans wouldn't wake up Cody, who fell asleep in the meantime. He was starting to go cross-eyed from this all, so I stopped after a few more minutes. He twitched a bit before going limp, panting against my skin. I giggled and softly cuddled him, nibbling at his neck. He held onto me, only slowly calming down since he couldn't he quite release, but still had that high.
After a while I noticed that he went still, so I removed my hand from his mouth. He was softly snoring, looking at peace. I giggled and cuddled him softly, closing my eyes. He happily snuggled up to me, feeling comfy seemingly.
I was happy about that. We had a baby, a happy family, and everyone was here and alive.
A happy sigh escaped me and I nuzzled my little Notchy some more, soon falling asleep.
