Everything was so

Everything was so... Peaceful in my mind...
It felt unrealistic to say the least.
A small shiver went through my body, panic suddenly filling my heart, so I gripped what was closest to me and held it close. It moved a bit and caressed my cheek, very careful while doing so. The hand was nice and warm, it soothed my aching body.
A small while passed before I woke up, panting a bit. Jay worriedly held my hand, watching my expression change from fear to calm when I noticed that I was fully awake. He trailed his other hand over my shoulder, calming me down a bit more. Cody wasn't around, the room was dark anyway, but the light on my bedside table was turned on. A bit confused I glanced past Jay, noticing that Nightmare was currently asleep, looking a tad better than before.
He was a mess and a half... I felt sorry for him, but didn't know what Sylvie did.
Sylvie...
I don't recall ever having a sister. Maybe she was kept by our parents, but who knows. All that I know is that she is cruel, while I'm pretty much the polar opposite. At least I hope I am...
Jay sat me up and pulled my against his chest. A bit surprised I let him lay my head onto his heart, staying perfectly still.
His heartbeat was irregular and stuttery, he was seemingly extremely worried about me. I frowned softly and hid in his chest. "Calm down a bit, sweetie...", I mumbled. He kept me close. "I can't with you getting hurt so much.", he explained quietly. I nodded and made a silent promise to stay out of danger. I don't want him to be in pain and leave me...
At that thought I immediately clung to his arm again, whimpering softly. He glanced at me. "What's wrong?", he asked softly. I hid my face, digging my nails into his skin. He yelped a bit and stopped me from that, taking my hands into his. He pressed them, panicking. "Notch, calm down. All is good.", he told me, worried. "Don't worry."
"Don't leave me...", I stuttered weakly, clinging to him. He paused a bit, surprised. "Notchy, I won't. I'm here for you, don't worry. I didn't think before, I'm sorry I said that.", he explained.
I stared at him for a while before roughly pining him down onto the bed. He squeaked, but tried to stay as calm as physically possible. Jay always knew when a person wasn't acting in their right mind, so he was aware that was the same case here.
He kept eye contact as he loosened up, trying to stay completely relaxed in my tight grip to show that he wouldn't try anything.
I trembled heavily, tightening my grip until my knuckles went white. Jay clenched his teeth in pain, but stayed silent.
At some point I felt someone's hand on my shoulder and loosened up in slight fear, going pale. "Hey, buddy. Maybe-", Nightmare started, but stopped when I backhanded him hard.
He needed a few moments to gather himself, quite obviously seeing stars now since I had my hand still partly as a fist and seemingly punched him right on the temple, so he definitely wasn't entirely happy with that.
A sharp breath escaped him and he slowly turned his head to me, pissed, but still controlling himself. "I just wanted to calm you down. You do not have the right to punch me. Markus.", he growled lowly, fixing himself up a bit.
Jay freed himself from beneath me and got up, helping him. He carefully looking into Nightmare's eyes, checking if his pupils still worked the same and stuff like that, visibly worried. I just sorta watched, kinda confused as Jay kept checking him. At some point he stopped, a bit uneasy. "Do you feel alright, Nightmare?", he asked softly. Nighty nodded, calm. "Yeah, I'm all good, don't worry.", he replied.
Jay calmed down at that before sitting back down with me. "That doesn't mean he's supposed to smack me tho.", he eventually grumbled. Jay rubbed his neck a bit, sighing. "He probably just reacted out of pure fear, sorry. He seemingly did understand me wrong before, he thought I'd leave him.", he explained.
"Maybe that would be the best."
Jay blinked a bit surprised. "Huh?", he asked.
My body started to tremble a small bit as Nightmare sighed and explained. "If Zephyr were to say that he wants to leave me because I cause them to get into too much danger,  I would immediately agree. Notch doesn't tho, he's overly attached to you for some reason. I don't get why, it's better if he stops being so attached. It would only cause more problems than it already does."
I clenched my teeth a bit as he kept going. "And you two have a child, which is getting dragged into this as well. Honestly, I'd be really glad if Zeph were to break up until those problems are over, but he's very loyal. Besides, Althea is pretty much old enough t o understand what is going on, which isn't the case with Cody. He'd panic as soon as he'd see what's going on."
I couldn't take it anymore and screeched loudly, jumping at him. Nightmare was still way too slow with his reactions, so he couldn't dodge me as I went for his throat, pushing him against the wall. I was about to punch him when I heard Jay run up to me and grab my wrist, preventing me from causing any more harm than I already did.
The wound on Nightmare's neck didn't seem to heal up at all, so it started bleeding again. A thin line of blood started running out from under the bandage and he reached up, slightly covering it with his hand.
Bellatrix heard the commotion and ran over to help while Jay dragged me back to bed, making me sit down.
I silently stared past him, tired. While he tried to have me calm down, I noticed a person quickly running away from the window, grinning evilly.

(It's 11:59 pm!!! The streak is still up!!! >:D)
