"So this me. Thank God, it wasn't traffic." Jennie sighed as she unlocked her seatbelt and looked at me.

I kept my eyes on the road. Something dawned on me just now. Perhaps it has long been obvious. An unfamiliar feeling towards a person too close to me.

"Hey, you've been quiet since dinner. Did something happen?" She said while she put her hands on my arm.

I have probably known it, but rather, I chose to ignore. It is a feeling that I am not ready to entertain yet, and I guess I keep on pushing it in the back of my head. Well, until tonight.

"Lisa, what's going on?" Said Jennie, her voice a little louder, a little panicky.

Startled, I looked at her and told her

"Jennie I-"

Lisa woke up at the sound of the alarm. 15 minutes past 7 am.

God, what kind of dream was that. She told herself. Already wide awake, she got up and made a cup of coffee. Lisa's not a morning person. Her class is still in the afternoon, but she has errands to do today - pass by the library and a department org meeting to attend to. So, As soon as she finished her coffee, she went for a bath and prepared herself for a long day.

Lisa got to the university before 9am. She just lives nearby since her parents decided to get her a studio apartment because she'll die of traffic. Well, that's part of the act. She likes the thought of independence of living alone.

After getting all she needed from the lib, she went to the org's office and waited for the meeting to start.
This should better start on time. I still have a class at 1:30pm.
Consumed by her thoughts, she didn't notice her friend, Seulgi Kang, was already beside her and talking to her.

"Hey, Lisa. I've been asking you since I got here. Until what time's your class today?"

"Huh? Until 3. Why?"

Seulgi smiled and muttered YES to herself which didn't escape Lisa's eye.

"Hey, I asked why? What's up?  By the way, I'll meet with Jisoo later. You coming?"

Lisa has been friends with Seulgi Kang and Jisoo Kim since their younger years. They all went to the same high-school and luckily, passed the same university. Though Seulgi and Lisa are taking up business courses and Jisoo is studying Economics.

Their conversation was stopped as soon as the other members came in. Lisa felt Seulgi stiffened.

"Kang, what's wrong? You look pale, man. You haven't even answered me yet. Why are you asking about my schedule? I'm telling you, it's too late to transfer classes, Kang. And are you coming with Jisoo and I la- "

"Ahem" The org's VP cleared her throat.
"Is everybody here? Alright, Let's begin. As you know, we will be having our college week in 2 months. And we need to prepare the activities as early as today. There are 2 classes who are starting to prepare for their intermission number. For contests, we have battle of the bands, Group dance competition, and sports fest. Lisa, has Elite DT confirmed their special participation on the day of the dance competition? We need to confirm today so we can get another group if they decline."

"Yes, Irene. I got an email confirmation already. But not everyone from Elite will join, I think. Most probably freshies will perform since most of the seniors are tied-up with their OJT."

"Understandable, but they better make sure that they will perform. Who are you speaking with from the rookies?"

"Sam.. Somi... Forgot her lastname . But yeah, Somi."

While the members were discussing what else was needed to prepare, Seulgi kept whispering to Lisa.
"I don't understand why we have to ask dance troupes from other colleges.We all -"

She was stopped when Irene spoke again.
"Yes, Seulgi? You were saying something?"

"No. All good." Then Seulgi kept quiet.

Lisa raised her eyebrows at Seulgi.

"All good? you've been whispering to me since I started talking about Elite! We asked them 'cause they got 1st place in the University Competition, remember? You have anything against anyone from Elite?" Lisa whispered to Seulgi since her sentiments have been confusing her. But Seulgi just shook her head and focused on the discussion.

"Ok, that's all for today. If there are any concerns, you can just drop by here in the office, or just send a message to the group, 'kay? I'll go ahead. Uhm, Seulgi, can I have a word?"

Sigh, Kang. I told you to keep your mouth shut every damn time. Lisa went out of the office smirking at Seulgi who was currently talking to Irene. It's almost lunch time. She decided to wait for the two to finish so she and Seulgi can eat together.

Seulgi let out a deep sigh after they finished their meal.
"Don't tell me you're affected with happened in the org's office? You know how strict Irene is. You should've kept it to yourself. Or you could've told me after the meet."

"What? No! Of course not. Why would I be affected. I'm just tired. I have training every morning in case you forgot. That is why... I'll go ahead. Can't afford to be late in class. I have tests. Gotta go!"

Lisa was left alone and she suddenly remembered her conversation earlier with Seulgi. Why would she ask for my dismissal again?
