JENNIE POV

I took off my jacket and scarf as soon as I entered the house. I went to the kitchen for a drink and grabbed a vase from the kitchen cabinets to place the sunflowers Seulgi gave me. While arranging, I thought to myself how a lot has happened in the past weeks.

I was about to go to sleep when I heard giggles from my best friend's room. I thought she was asleep. I knocked a few times but there was no answer. Just murmurs and giggles. I slowly opened the door and realized she was laying on her back with her earphones on, staring at the ceiling. Now that's why she didn't hear me.

"Rosie Posie!"

She instantly sat up and yelled back, "Jennie!"

I laughed seeing how disgruntled she was. "You were so busy you didn't even see me enter your room."

She whispered something on the mouthpiece of the headset before she put down her phone on her side table.

"Were you talking to someone? You shouldn't have ended it!"

"I was just listening to a funny podcast, that's all. Anyway, you're home early. What's up?"

"Oh, nothing. I just missed you. I realized we haven't talked that much since we started hanging out with the dorks." Dorks who became our friends.

"Aw. Jennie. Come here, I missed you, too." I went to sit on her bed and reached for her hug. "Yeah, we've been pretty occupied by either going out with them or you dating Seulgi."

"Hey, you always go on a food trip with Jisoo!"

"That's not what we only do, okay!"

"Right. Why don't you tell me what else you do on your free time?"

Rosie pushed herself to lean back on the headboard. "Jisoo loves musical!"

And that was enough for me to squeal! "No way! Finally! You have someone else to go with your musical thing!"

Her eyes lit up and started talking ecstatically, "Exactly my point! I didn't need to drag you anymore! I mean, I thought we'd have different tastes in music, but apparently, she appreciates musicals, too. When it comes to a play, or a story, we like the same plot! Same flow! And I guess that's how we got along so easily."

"That's good then! Wow. Those three are really a surprise. Especially Jisoo and Lisa when it comes to music. Did you know Lisa's a Swiftie? " I told her and she chuckled.

"So I've heard. Jisoo told me about it! Anyway, how was your date?"

I went beside her and mirrored her position. "Seulgi took me to the Moonlight Cruise."

"Oooh fancy! Did you enjoy it?" She leaned over to face me. 

"Yeah. I did! We went to the park and rented bikes first. I thought that was it until she brought me to the cruise."

"How come you don't seem happy?"

"I was. I mean, I am. It was just tiring, too."

"Hmm Hmm." was her only answer. Who am I kidding? I know I cannot keep anything from her.

"Ugh, Rosie! I don't know. When we were on the cruise, it was so overwhelming I could almost kiss her. It was magical, you know."

"What do you mean almost? Did you kiss?! "

"Hmm she held my hand?"

She checked her phone before leaning back to the headboard again. "Okay, that's progress! You're getting more comfortable with her."
