LISA POV

The morning came in the blink of an eye. I was only able to sleep for three to four hours, max, before I rushed to the bathroom to take a bath. I thank the universe for water heaters. But the heater in my living room was still broken. I must tell the building admin before leaving for school.

I was excused from most of my classes for the next two weeks since we had to prepare for college week. This goes to all the officers and other students who were part of the committee as well. However, I knew I was late for the org meeting so I didn't think too much of what to wear. As long as I had my scarf and winter coat on, I went out of my apartment.

I rushed into our building when I saw Seulgi and Irene having a heated discussion in one of the vacant rooms in the hallway. I knew for a fact that they couldn't stand each other, but what could they be discussing about that could make them look like they wanted to pull each other's hair? The door was slightly open but they must have not noticed me because they continued saying words that I couldn't understand. Something like time and training echoed and that was all I understood. Irene must have been asking Seulgi to be part of a committee on the college week and obviously, Seulgi couldn't because of her schedule.

I can no longer take what was about to happen next so I knocked on the door. The unanticipated sound seemed to stunned them and they stopped speaking. It was my signal to welcome myself and open the door widely.

"Excuse me, Irene. Can I talk to you?" but I was looking at Kang who was avoiding my gaze.

"Can't this wait until the meeting, Lisa?"

"Uhm, the meeting was supposed to start 20 minutes ago?"

Seulgi looked at me then at Irene before walking out of the room.

"Hey, Kang!" But she walked faster and was gone in my sight just a few seconds after.

"What is this about?"

"Let's just discuss it in the office." but deep inside I wanted to chase Seulgi and asked what the argument was about. There's time for it later, I guess.

The officers and the committee were already complete when we entered the office.

The president started off the meeting by listing down all the activities and each of the assigned committees. Irene then asked each of the heads of committees to provide an update, making sure everything will go as planned. When it was my turn, I took all the courage I had because I will be stating a little bad news.

"Class 1N has completed their routine. They have finalized their costumes as well. Uhh, Elite DT has also completed their routine. Somi made sure there won't be an issue on what they will wear. So, uhm, the Class 2N won't perform anymore. I received the message just this morning. They couldn't complete the dance. Their schedules couldn't fit, hence they weren't able to meet as much."

"What the hell, Lisa!" Irene exclaimed. The rest of the people in the office gasped.

"I'm sorry Irene, but I did everything I could. I even told them to just let those who have attended the practice, perform. But apparently, there were less than five students who could. I tried fitting them into 1N, but it's too late now."

"Then find a way! We couldn't afford to miss one class." Irene is a bit of a perfectionist. She doesn't like things going out the way it was planned. "It's a shame they were even handled by the org chairperson. Is she even aware of this?"

"Yeah, they said Professor Yee agreed to give them a special project instead."

The president was about to say something but Irene interrupted her.
