LISA's POV

Today's the last day of the term. Final exams are done! I will be leaving for home tomorrow so I was fixing all my stuff that I will be bringing back, including clothes that I will be donating to the annual Christmas charity at home.

A much needed break.

All my gifts for the family have been wrapped since last week. I didn't have much to do anyway, aside from studying for the tests. I have given Jisoo hers... of course, a vinyl record she had been looking for that I happened to find in one of the record stores uptown - Incubus. I had one each for Chaeng and Jennie, too. But I wasn't sure if the present was still welcome. I have come to terms that Jennie and I won't be talking for a while. It's been 2 weeks after all.

As I was packing my bags for my drive tomorrow, I saw the University paper in my bag. I remembered a student distributing it in the entrance of the University but I wasn't able to take a look at it since I was in a hurry.

I was expecting that the College week that was held almost a month ago would be in the headline. They usually do it for every celebration. So it was no surprise that it was indeed highlighted.

I also saw from another page that the University Volleyball team won the championship. Good for them. I thought how happy it would have made Seulgi. It was one of her dreams. Then the feeling of pain and sadness of losing a friend was getting to me again.

I turned the page after another, checking out interesting stories if there were any. I was about to fold it when something caught my attention. It was a picture taken during the event -  a photo of me while doing the performance with Deukie's.

I decided to read the whole article I was in.

Wait a minute.

I am featured in a newspaper article! It's a University paper though, but Mom would be proud!

I sat on my bed and read what it was about. As I got into the paragraphs talking about me, I thought about how the writer saw me. And I wasn't just talking about the performance. The writer knew a lot more things about me. Did she talk to my friends? Orgmates?

My cheeks were starting to hurt as my smile was getting wider and wider when I reached the bottom of the article. I went back again at the top to see that it was written by the person whom I have been longing for weeks.

I immediately put the paper in my bag, dressed in a sweatshirt and a pair of pants that I could get hold of, before grabbing the coat and went out of my unit. I didn't care what time it was. I have to see her tonight.

But I forgot my car keys so I had to went back again.

I had a lot of thoughts in my head but one thing's for sure,

I won't make her regret this.

I blasted my speakers on. I played Taylor Swift's albums on loop. Any song by her will keep me high right now. Yes, even if it's her All Too Well 10 minute version. I can scream my lungs out of giddiness.

While I was on my way to Jennie's, my phone rang and saw that it was Jisoo. I answered and put in on speaker so I can talk to her without taking my eyes off the road.

"Lalisa! Where are you at?"

Jisoo's background was loud! I could barely hear her.

"On the road. on my way to Jennie. Why?"

"You mean you're driving right now?" This time, she was already yelling from the other line.

"Yeah, Look Chu, I have to go. I need to see her and talk to her now, okay?"
