In all honesty, she didn't blame him. Even if Neo's solution to getting a bunch of ravenous hobo thugs off his back was brainlessly uncalculated, he still did what he did due to how much he cared for his father.
Would rather risk it all than have to witness the aged man be beaten black and blue, or worse. He was simply looking out for the person who he loved more than evidently everything else in the world, even if that said person didn't reciprocate those same feelings back.
Though, that wasn't to say that Spencer still didn't have any intentions of making Neo pay back what he owed them all. That was the Barlowe family's money, their only source of obtaining proper food. Medicine, payment for the bills which according to the sticky note that was dangling from her bedpost, were due in a week.
