Spencer sat at the kitchen table with a discarded Chicago Tribune in one hand and a cup of coffe in the other, even though it was way into the afternoon and she hadn't done anything hectic enough to warrant her a coffee break. Her gaze scanned the words she'd already scribbled down to find an alternative. Her knowledge in itself about politics were pretty oblique, as was the history of her country, so doing a 50 word crossword puzzle proved pretty hard.
