𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗥'𝗦 𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗢𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗔𝗗 𝗕𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗝𝗔𝗠 𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗗 than usual. Firstly, after walking June to her job and messing around with the new reclining system on one of Carol's salon chairs ( an offence that got her kicked out, just for 24 hours ) she hopped on the 214 to the East Side's more gentrified area.
The first of its kind. It was weird seeing the transition from boarded up homes with broken steps at the tail end of Ashland to the spotless, eggshell white painted ones that resided at the top.
The place was a somewhat good neighbourhood overall, way less violence than the South for the most part and the air was more breathable. But, she still preferred her indescribably imperfect community a little bit more.
She spent her time over at Inez's sitting in between her and Mandy whilst trying to comprehend the old timey 50's posh accents of the two adults playing Romeo and Juliet.
And the only thing she learned from that film and overall play was that loved either worked for you or against you.
Once it had finally wrapped, and Inez's mother had given them enough food to feed a homeless shelter, Spencer and Mandy hitched a ride from one of her older brothers in the back of his truck all the way back to the other side of the tracks.
