𝗔𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘, Spencer had come to the prominition that she was just about done with the influx of randoms that had been coming in and out of her home.

Shocking, really. But even she had her limits.

They were steady when it was police constantly filtering in and out because of Andrei and what he'd done. Normally they'd stay, say their usual trademark police-like tag lines about what they'd come to do, peel open a curtain to check for scarce evidence, then disappear into the smog of their tanked up cop cars. It was manageable.

After all that came Elaine, her old social worker. And a seething crackhead with a vengeance problem and artistic prowess not too long after.

And now it was more social services coming for Odessa and Knox's necks this time. Or as they'd so politely phrased it, 'checking in out of due diligency'. 2 women, who were currently stationed either on the couch or still secretly coasting their general surroundings, had been fire balling the couple with purposefully structured  questions to try and understand them.

And so far, through all of that, Knox had managed to give them a suffice enough statement that made everything seem like it was sublime. Followed closely by Odessa's mother, Angela, who still hadn't gotten the memo about the lack of elbow room and had decided to stay overnight in the old Harry Potter sized 'bedroom' that Neo once occupied.

Spencer had been watching from a distance leant against the wall of the staircase for moral support. She also needed something to motivate her to leave her room after shutting herself in there for what felt like an entire fortnight.

She'd been awaiting a call, or even a text from Lip to let her know how things were with everyone, especially Liam. But he had pretty much gone radio silent on her and Spencer had just chalked it up to him needing to concentrate on work and mending what he could in concern to his family. Which meant she'd get shuffled a little further down the priority line.

"From what I've seen over the last couple days of our home vists, this a safe space. And um, very warm too." One of the two social workers complimented with an inkling of genuinity in her tone. There was a strong but that was about to proceed from that raving five star Yelp-esk review of her...of their, home. She could feel it.
