The week had passed and sadly Suryeon's grandfather passed away, so they held a funeral for him. Logan's family also went to the funeral. Logan, Suryeon, and Chaeyoung went together.
"Hon, do you want some?" Logan offered a snack to Suryeon and she gladly accepted it.
"I can't taste the sweetness of this snack." Suryeon stated, Logan took a bite. He looked immediately at Suryeon, he was worried for a moment but he remained calm. Logan stood up and went near to his brother-in-law.
"Hyung, do you have salty food or any snacks that are salty?"Logan asked politely.
"Why? What happened?" Jinhu asked.
"She said she can't taste anything. When in fact, these cookies are so sweet." Logan explained.
Jinhu gets a salty snack and gives it to Logan, Logan goes back to Suryeon.
"Hon, here try this one." Suryeon looks at him with pity eyes. Suryeon held his hand and smiled at him.
Suryeon started to lose her sense of taste due to her illness. Suryeon knew it's gonna happen.
The funeral has been held formally and properly. Logan, Suryeon, and Chaeyougn went home first so Suryeon could go home and rest. Logan tucked Chaeyoung in her bed, while Suryeon went to the kitchen and drank her medicine. Logan noticed how Suryeon stared at glass so to comfort her, he hugged her from the back, and kissed her temple.
"Are you okay?" Logan asked softly.
"Hmm... of course." Suryeon removed his hand and faced him and leaned her head on Logan's chest.
"I can sense you are worried. So I should be the one to ask you, are you okay?" Suryeon said and looked up at him.
"To answer you honestly, no. I am scared... Everyday.. I am scared." Suryeon is saddened upon hearing Logan's real feelings towards this situation.
"I am scared that maybe one night.. One morning... you are no longer here.. I am afraid to wake up without you by my side." Suryeon places her soft hands to Logan's cheeks where tears keep falling down.
" I love you and no matter how many times I should tell you those words I'll never get tired. I am willing to tell you and make you feel how much I love you." Suryeon stated, she kissed Logan on the lips and Logan pulled her closer, which made the kiss more deep and passionate.
Little did they know, there was a little girl peaking on the side.
"Eomma, appa.." Chaeyoung said while rubbing her eyes and being cute. Logan went near to her and carried her.
"Omo.. Did we wake you up?" Suryeon asked while looking at her husband and daughter.
"Nope. I just woke up." Chaeyoung answered.
"Do you want to sleep with us tonight?" Logan asked, smiling widely.
"Of course, appa." Chaeyoung responded. They all went to the master's bedroom. Chaeyoung was sleeping between the two. Suryeon finds it beautiful, and Chaeyoung finally experiences having a complete family.
"Let's take a picture." Suryeon suggested, and she took out the polaroid camera, and they took a picture.
"Eomma, it's beautiful..." Chaeyoung complimented.
"Can I put this on my album, eomma?" Suryeon nodded. The married couple hugged Chaeyoung.
"Promise me that you have to be a good girl, okay?" Suryeon whispered to Chaeyoung, Chaeyoung couldn't answer her anymore because Chaeyoung just fell asleep.
