A second chance

Chapter 21

Suryeon went to an empty house, it is just a mini house, but it was too spacious inside. It was night, she started feeling pain on her abdomen and at the same time feeling pain all over her head.

She couldn't bear the pain, she even tried to reach for her glass of water but she dropped it. She screamed in pain but she felt hopeless.

Logan is trying to call Suryeon, but no one is answering the phone. He went directly to Suryeon's friend which is Miran.

"Where is Suryeon?" Logan directly asked, Miran was stunned to see him again.

"She went on vacation. I don't know where." Miran plainly answered.

"Mwo?! You allowed her to go on a vacation? Tell me where she is." Logan was anxious upon worrying thinking Suryeon's state or might happen to her later on.

"I don't know where exactly she went to. You can ask her mother-in-law.. Here is the address." Miran said and wrote the address on a piece of paper and gave it to Logan.

Logan said his thank you, Jinhu even called him and asked where his sister was, everyone was worried knowing the fact that Suryeon went alone.

He went to Inhyeon's house, and saw Chaeyoung playing outside. Chaeyoung saw him,

"Appa!" She shouted, and Logan went near to her.

"O, chaeyoung-ah.. Where is your mom?" Chaeyoung shrugged her head, Inhyeon came out and saw Chaeyoung clinging to Logan.

" If you are asking where Suryeon is, I actually don't know. We are trying to call her but she is not even answering." Inhyeon directly said. Logan started to feel anxious with the situation.

He drove back to his cafe, and went to his own room. He kept on calling Suryeon, but she is still not answering her phone.

He just gave her a voice note.

Suryeon-ssi, where are you? I hope you are fine. I am looking for you the whole day. Let's have some coffee when you go back. Saranghae.

He said.

He went outside his room and looked for the ring he threw way back then when his proposal failed.

While he was searching for it, his phone rang and it appeared it was Suryeon....

Suryeon was enduring the pain, she opened her phone and saw all the voice notes from Chaeyoung and Logan. She smiled a little bit while she was crying in pain.

She saw that Logan set his number to an emergency number.

She called his number, she was actually struggling to speak.

Logan answered the phone. He heard from the other line that Suryeon was crying because of pain.

"Suryeon, eodiya(where are you?)?" He asked.

" Logan, I have something to ask."

" Suryeon-ssi, eodiya?" He kept on asking.

"I am a mess right now, someday I might get more messy, are you still willing to stay with me? Logan, maybe tomorrow or the other day, I might forget your name. I might hurt your feelings, is that okay?" Suryeon was crying on the other line, but her lips formed a smile waiting for Logan's answer.

While he was listening to Suryeon's voice, he was covering his mouth because he was already in tears, he is hardly crying, he is sobbing, and he doesn't want Suryeon to know that he was also in pain. He can't bear the woman she loves. He can just ask her where he is.
