A second chance

Chapter 23

The next day, Logan and Suryeon went out with Chaeyoung. Suryeon didn;t know where they were going so she just followed Logan. Then she was confused why they stopped in front of a house.

"What are we doing here?" Suryeon asked.

"I told you, I am not going to leave your side, so here it is. I bought a house for the three of us." Suryeon smiled and playfully slapped Logan's shoulder.

They went inside the house, and Suryeon was shocked to see how spacious and almost completed the house is.

"There is some furniture that I still have to buy, but I want to show this house first to you. And besides, Chaeyoung's room is now fully furnished and complete. Chaeyoung-ah, do you want to see your room?" Logan said, and Chaeyoung nodded.

Upon seeing her room, Chaeyoung is so happy. She went directly to her own bed and jumped playfully.

"Do you like it?" Suryeon asked.

"Ne, eomma." Chaeyoung answered. They leave Chaeyoung for a while, and proceed to their own room.

"And this is our room. It is also complete." Logan said and opened the door.

"This is too much, Logan." Suryeon said, but deep inside she was happy and grateful at the same time.

"Wae, don't you like it? We can change it." Suryeon looked at him, and gave him a warm hug.

"I love it. Komawo, Logan." Suryeon said, and Logan's heart fluttered and his cheeks were turning red.

" Omo... your cheeks are turning red.." Suryeon notices it and makes fun of Logan. Logan pouted like a kid.

"Yah!" Logan was very embarrassed and touched his cheeks and it was burning hot too. Because of this, Logan poked fun of Suryeon too, and playfully but carefully lay her down on the bed. He showered her kisses all over her beautiful face.

"Yah, Chaeyoung might hear us." Suryeon said. But Logan still continued to do it. Logan tickled Suryeon and they filled the room with their laughter. Chaeyoung also came in and joined in.

The room was now filled with laughter of three people who sincerely love and care for each other.

"I already asked Miran to help me transfer all your things. Hojoon also came by and helped. And also Jinhu hyung helped us here." Logan said, boasting about his achievement.

"Aigoo, are you bragging about these things?" Suryeon said and smirked.

"Why?" Logan said and pouted again. And he even playfully rolled his eyes.

"Omo.. did you just roll your eyes? How dare you?" Suryeon said and looked at him intensely. But Logan just smirked and suddenly kissed Suryeon's lips.

"Yah!" Suryeon said, then once again Logan kissed her again.

"Logan.." He kissed her again.

"Dare to talk and something mysterious will happen tonight." Logan said and grinned. Suryeon slightly laughed.

The day ended so fast, and it is already night. Chaeyoung falls asleep first while Suryeon and Logan go out and stare in the night sky filled with many stars.

" The moon is so beautiful, isn't it?" Logan spoke.

" Yes, it is." Suryeon answered. And look at Logan, he leans his head to Suryeon's shoulder, and Suryeon caresses his face with her soft hands.

"What do you want to do tomorrow?"

"Nothing."

"What do you want to do tonight?"

"Be with you." Suryeon answered.

"I have something to tell you." Logan removed his small head in Suryeon's shoulder and look at Suryeon who was actually looking at the sky.

" I knew that you already received the results from the doctors in America. I saw it too. No matter how bad it is, don't be upset. From now on, we should stop talking about my illness, arasseo?" Suryeon said and turned her gaze to Logan who was staring at her.

"Arasseo." Logan nods and kissed Suryeon's forehead.

"It is cold already, let's go inside." Logan said and helped Suryeon to stand up. They went back, and proceeded to their room. The bed is kinda big for the two of them. Logan was about to pull Suryeon to the room, when Suryeon..

"Wait..." Suryeon walked towards chaeyoung's room and check if she's fine. She fixed the blanket and kissed her daughter's forehead.

She went inside and saw Logan lying down while looking at the ceiling. Suryeon laid beside him. Logan was caressing her hair, until she fell asleep. Logan looked at her, and when he saw that Suryeon was already asleep. He put a blanket on Suryeon, and gave her a kiss on the cheeks.

And he fell asleep.
