Moonlight - Pause

Chapter 4

It's already 5:30 A.M and I'm tangling my hair so that I can arrive in time for the first training session. After I'm done with my hair , I leave the dorm and I meet Dominick , who is waiting for me.

- Good morning angry bird. What do you think the training is going to be about? - Said Dom , with great humor.

- Good morning if it's just for you. I prefer to go into hibernation.

- Always the same - He replied with a smile.

- Well, I don't know what is going to be about , but I'm sure it's going to be pretty lame !

- We are about to find out.

We reached the training room, everyone was on time and well awaked.

- Today is the first day of training and you are going to learn how to defend yourself. Once you learn it, you will know how to attack. It's a strategy.

- The strategy is for him to shut up for a minute - Said a guy who was next to me, to his friend.

The superior heard him and demanded the recruit stand up and say his name.

- It's Charles Sir - He said , frightened and ashamed.

- So , Charles, do you know how to defend yourself? - Said the angry rat with his voice high.

The superior headed close to him and in a matter of seconds he positioned Charles on the ground, squeezing his neck. Then he said:

- First lesson to every little dumbass in this room. You can't underestimate the power of knowledge. This is what happens if you let your stupidity win. With one move I can crack Charles's neck.

He freed Charles and said:

- Go back to your seat. If you try this immature behavior again, you won't be able to sit ... Now everyone picks a partner. We are going to do some basic exercises.

Dom asked to join me and of course, I accepted.

- Don't be easy on me, I won't be with you - I warned him.

- Noted ! - He said , smiling.
