Honestly, I was feeling proud.
Everyone will remember what I did, and that’s great, so that no one tries to get on my nerves.
After the training session ended, Dom approached me.
- Anya, you were stunning! The instructor continued to watch you closely the whole time, even when you were fighting with Sarah, and she doesn’t have any ability on the exercises!
- Thanks Dom. I surely did something right!

Than, a silent moment came and Dom asked:
- You do know that Alex is not worth it, right?
- What do you mean?
- I mean that you don’t need to show him how capable you are to take him down. He’s dangerous, you have to stay far away enough from him.
- And why is that?

He grabbed my waist and led us to a lonely and silent corner of the room.
- One time, Captain Tylar was carrying heavy boxes with military equipment from an office and he saw me at the hall and asked me to help him so that the task could be quickly done. I did it, of course, but the thing is that in the table there were a lot of files and one of them was at the top. It was Alex’s file. My eyes instantly jumped to the word,“homicides”. He is a murderer, Anya. I don’t know how, why or when he did that but I don’t want to know. Just stay away from him.
- Okay, that’s creepy. But if he’s a recruit then there should be a reason why he did that, and at some point, understandable, because a murderer can never be a recruit. There 's protocole.
- Or maybe his brother, who’s a Captain, made sure he was recruited!
- Dom,I confess that it’s a little concerning that in his file there’s information about homicides, but you must know that our country, our military superiors are very restricted and they preserve security, especially here at the base, where the action is made. Let’s trust in them. And Alex doesn’t have murderous personality, I can see that. The only thing he is, it’s an idiot, and I will take him down once more if I want to.
- Don’t forget that I warned you.
