Chapter 16

Anya POV

Today I just woke up and started to get ready for training. I tangled my hair tightly because today, the training is rough, for what I just heard from Caitlyn. But I will wait for further information when I arrive at the training place. Dom was already waiting for me at my door. He's always on time. No matter how late he was up all night, no matter how tired he can be, he's always on time.
- Hello sunshine!
- Don't you dare call me that again, pillock. – I replied, smirking
- Then don't you dare look so shiny. Your skin is shining so much today.
- I know I'm beautiful, you don't need to say it.
- Indeed. - he said smiling
We arrived at the training room early. There were only 7 recruits from 21.
Caitlyn joined us after a while and came to me with a strange and non predictable question:

- Hey Anya, why are you the only one who doesn't have a roommate?
- Well, I have one. The scorpio.
- WHAT? YOU HAVE A SCORPIO?
- I wasn't that surprised when I found out. Anya is such a hard person to mind reading, so anything society claims is unusual, she will be doing it. And no one will ever know why. - told Dom while looking at me with blue friendly eyes.
- I don't know Caitlyn. I was told I had a room for myself so I didn't complain. I like myself as a roommate. Also, we are 21 in total. That means one person would be room alone
- Okay, great observation. I didn't think about it. Honestly, I didn't even put myself at the job of counting how much we are. - she said, joking about herself.

The instructor came right on point. 6:15am.

- Today you're going to face the hardest training so far. You will practice some strength exercises, such as climbing a wall with the help of a rope, crawl in the mug and run for one hour on the running track. After the run, you'll repeat the initial exercises.

- Oh, they're going to kick our ass – said Dom
- Repeatedly, it seems. – I replied

Then, the instructor continued:
- Since no one warned you about the clothes, you will leave this room and change. Everyone already has a pack at the door with the right clothing. Now, go change and meet me outside at the field in 10 minutes.

That 's what we did.
I picked the pack from the floor and entered my room. It was a black tight suit with buckles on the legs and black high boots. Once I dressed up, I looked at the mirror. I mean, it's great but it's something I had never used before. Then, I left to meet Dom and Caitlyn. They looked good in that clothes,

- Look at you girl! If I were bissexual I would take you on a date. – Caitlyn said
- Oh please, we all know that you dont need to be bisexual to take me on a date. I'm much more than a sexuality. - I joked
- It fits you well Anya. - Dom praised
- You too! And so do you Caitlyn!
- Yeah, I'm hotter than usual. Now, let's go to the field.

As always, we were on time.
- Form two columns, and when I whistle you start with the wall, then the mud and, lastly, the running.

We all started.
I was fast. The wall was higher than I thought but I could manage it. Worse than the wall was the mug. It was hard to crawl on it, since I wanted to do it quickly. But also, I could manage it. I was the most advanced. Me and that idiot, named Alexander. Why can't he just be bad at this stuff? He pisses me off.
He was passing through me at the beginning of the run when he said:

- You're slow. If you continue to run with those little legs you won't finish until tomorrow. Dwarf.

Oh, he was so wrong. I was being slow because I wanted to. I showed him what slowness can be. It can be him. He turned red from irritation. I turn red from pleasure.
Seeing his face like that? Oh, such a treasury, He stayed behind me all the first round.
The problem is that on the second round of the exercises, he stood up in front of me every single time. I swear, I will kick his face someday.
