Alex POV
The sun was rising and I was already out of bed. I did the morning hygiene and quickly went outside.
Brittian's climate is very similar to the climate of Kolov: Cold to freeze to the veins. Geographically, Brittian is in the north of Anura. There are some mountains that separate Djev from this place and, sliding through these mountains there is a partially frozen river.
I didn't want to move too far from the base, but it seems that the forest is calling me. If i close my eyes, it looks like I'm home. The smell of pine , the cold air , the howling of wolves... I wish I could go back in time.
- You discovered this paradise? - said a voice that I knew well.
- Fuck bro, don't ever scare me like this again ...
- You almost fell with your ass on the ground - he laughed. I don't
know what's so funny. - This is a copy of Kolov
- A cheap copy, but yes, it remind me of our childhood... How long have you discovered this place?
- As soon as we arrived. I came to get to know the area and found out this place.
- Thank you for sharing.
- I didn't know if it was going to be a trigger for you. I want you to be stable and nothing to hinder your performance here. You have a great future waiting for you, dreams and expectations that you have to fulfill. Maybe you can even have children and a wife.
- Me? Children? You're going crazy for sure. You're the one who's already at the age of having children, won't I have nephews?
- Maybe one day - he slapped me in the neck - Now let's have breakfast.
- I want to stay a little longer. Make me company.
- Like in the old days?
- Just like in the old days.
We stayed in silence for a few minutes, just enjoying the view, but I felt that Isaac wanted to ask me something , so I gave him an incentive.
- You better say what you're thinking. I don't you to die clogged - he smiled.
- I saw that your relationship with Allen has improved, have you stopped be a brat with her?
- First of all, she was the one who messed with me and second of all , we made a truce before leaving Ilwon.
- Oh lord , I was a very different recruit from you. I was quiet, I didn't create problems, obeyed all orders...
- The first children are always more responsible.
- It has nothing to do with it. I just knew that if i got out of line, you would have to steal to feed yourself.
- Did you remember our first theft ?
- I'd rather forget it but we did what we did to survive, if I went back I would do exactly the same thing.
- Do you think Alan would be more like you or me?
- Like you of course . At the age of five, he climbed the trees and threw himself down to try to fly.
- Our parents must have had some good scares with him.
- With him? You were thirty times worse.
- Heeyyyy you are lying.
- Are you with alzheimer? You stuck your head in the river because you wanted to catch fish with your mouth. Not to mention that time you ran away to play in the snow and lost yourself, your luck was that neighbor, Juliah , found you and brought you home. Did you remember that time you tried to ride a pig?
- That's enough, I already understood that the family terrorist was me.
- And yet you were our mother's favorite.
-Do you think?
- I always thought she looked at you differently. Maybe it was because you were the youngest but you were the favorite.
- Now it doesn't matter either... do you think we'll ever go back to the place where we bury the bodies?
- I don't know... anyway it's time for us to go, training is about to start and the colonel will rip our heads off if we arrive late.
- Yes, sir.
