I woke up because I felt little hands on my face poking me. I opened my eyes to see Dani.

She then whispered, "Mama T asked me to wake you."

I stretched and wrapped my arms around her. She giggled wildly as I rolled over in my bed with her in my arms.

I did loud exaggerated snores and she poked me harder. "You have to wake up. It's the morning time."

I just opened my eyes and looked at her, "Ok, ok. I'm awake."

She stared for a second before asking, "Do you go to work today?"

I shook my head and she added "I don't have anything to do today either."

I was a bit confused, "You don't go to daycare today?" I asked.

She shook her head, "I go to daycare on Monday and Friday, it's Saturday."

Right.

I sat up and she did as well.

"Are you busy today?" She asked.

I yawned, "I have to do some grading, why?"

She just shook her head, "No reason...I just came here to wake you."

She wanted to hang out.

"Well I have twenty essays to grade. I'd need help to have enough time to take you out. What do you suggest?"

I already had a plan in mind, I just wanted to know if she'd be comfortable with it.

She then said, "Is Olivia busy?"

She read my mind.

"I'll let you call her." I handed her my phone.

She looked up at me and asked, "Is the password my birthday?"

I shook my head, "It's Mama D's."

She looked a little sad as she typed it in. I'll change it for her.

I watched her as she looked for her contact.

She then said, "L...I...V. Is that her contact?"

I nodded and she looked up at me, "Put your glasses on please. You look like Mama D."

I put my glasses on and said "What's wrong with looking like Mama D."

She then said, "Because she kisses me on the cheek all the time and if you look too much like her I'll start expecting kisses from you and I don't want to be disappointed."

Ouch.

Then the phone rang.

I then softly said, "I'm trying to be more intimate with you Dani."

"You could try harder." She said simply.

Even though her words were a bit harsh she was right. I haven't been intimate with her like I should be.

I'm thankful that Mama D is so intimate. My mother's raised her beautifully and they didn't have to.

I then heard, "Hello?"

Before I could say anything Dani said, "Is this Olivia?"

I heard a soft chuckle, "Yes it is. To what do I owe the pleasure Dani."

She then said, "Talia has a lot of your work to grade so she can't hang out with me. Can you come help her so she has time for me?"

My eyes widened and I whispered, "Dani you can't ask someone to work on their day off so harshly."

Dani shushed me, "I got this. We're friends and she gave me gummy bears."

Liv was chuckling, "If Talia needs to make time for you then I don't mind helping. But what's in it for me?"
