I had to break the news to Dani before I left.

I went to her room and she was coloring in her book.

I knocked and she looked up, "Are you going on another date?"

I nodded, "Remember what you said about Olivia and I?"

She nodded and I said, "Well I'm going to try to date her but that means something so come here."

She came to me and sat in my lap. I held her close.

I then said, "If Olivia and I don't work out then you probably won't see Olivia anymore."

That made her sad, "But..."

She looked up and I quickly said, "If it does work out you'll see Olivia a lot more and she could become your second Mommy. That is, if you're ok with that?"

She nodded, "Will I still see Mama T and Mama D?"

I nodded with a chuckle, "Of course honey. Probably not as much as now but still a lot."

She then said, "Ok. I'm fine with it then."

I smiled, "I'm going to miss you when I go."

She hugged me and gripped my shirt. She buried her head in my chest.

"What's wrong Dani?" I asked gently.

She then said, "I've always wanted this."

She's always wanted to be my daughter.

I wiped my falling tear, "Well you're stuck with me forever now. Meaning endless tickles."

I tickled her and she laughed. I giggled and kissed her cheek.

"Goodnight." I whispered.

She giggled softly, "Goodnight."

I left the room and went downstairs. Mama T was sipping her tea behind the counter.

"Mama D?" I asked.

"She's been asleep since this evening dear. She'll be up tomorrow afternoon." Mama T said

I knew what that meant.

She waved me off, "Have fun."

I gave her a nod before leaving.

Liv picked me up again this time.

I got in the car and she said, "You're extra handsome tonight."

I chuckled softly. I actually wore a suit but I didn't have a tie. Just a chain. I would've worn a dress but I wanted Liv to have on a beautiful dress.

"Thank you, you look stunning yourself." I complimented.

She smiled and thanked me before pulling off.

I then said, "I know you asked me out tonight but I'd like to pay if that's alright with you."

She nodded, "I'll never fight you over the bill. Trust me."

I just chuckled to myself.

After about fifteen minutes we made it to the restaurant and like last time, she had a reservation.

We were seated and she started, "So, now we're on a date. I have high expectations you know."

She raised a brow, "Really? Then what was the last guy."

She did a soft sigh, "You know at first his band was flourishing. I thought he had a nice career and for the first year and a half he was a genuinely nice guy...or that's what I thought he was."
