Daniel was here at the shop today.

He was here for moral support and to help out while I helped Dani with her homework.

I watched as she wrote her last key term.

She looked up at me eagerly to check it.

"You're so smart baby." I said with a smile.

She hugged me, "Thank you Mommy."

I hugged her and tickled her lightly. She giggled and squirmed.

"You can go upstairs and set up your house. Liv will be up there shortly to play with you." I assured.

She took her workbooks and ran upstairs.

I went next to the counter where Daniel was making drinks.

"I love seeing you with Dani. You two are an adorable pair." He stated.

I smiled, "Thank you. It means a lot coming from you."

He elbowed me and I giggled.

"You know our Mamas are on their way back." He said lowly.

"Yes...do you think they'll be better or worse?" I asked.

He was unsure, "Hopefully better. I believe our mom's love is true."

I rolled my eyes, "You and your true love fairy tales."

He chuckled, "Love is real Talia and if I believe in one thing it's true and innocent love. If they come back stronger than they've ever been you have to agree with me."

I did a nod, "Fine but if we can't invite Aunt Abby over on a random Wednesday then you agree with me. Love is rarely true. It's just dangerous."

He did a short nod.

The door opened and Liv came in.

She walked over and smiled, "Good Afternoon Daniel."

He smiled, "Hi Liv."

She looked at me and gave me eyes, "How was your day Talia. I missed you at work."

I took a step closer.

"I missed you too. That should sum up my day." I said.

She glanced down to my lips and I said, "I would go upstairs with you but Dani is waiting."

She did a short sigh, "Well I do adore Dani."

I smiled and nicked her chin. She went upstairs.

I looked to Daniel and he looked to me with his arms folded.

"That woman loves you Talia. Don't sit here and tell me you don't love her back." He said sternly.

"Daniel I-" I started.

Before I could finish the door chimed and we could see our mothers.

They came in giggling and we looked at each other.

They came over to us and Mama T excitedly said, "It's always amazing to see you two behind the counter together."

Mama D agreed and wrapped her arms around her waist, "Your mother is right, it reminds us of when you were in high school."

"How are you two? You seem extra touchy." I said with a raised brow.

They looked at each other and back to us and shrugged in unison.

Then in unison they said, "I don't see a problem."

They looked at each other and giggled together.

This was how they acted when we were kids. And I could see Danielle smile at them.

"Is Aunt Abby invited to the baby shower now?" Daniel asked.

Mama D chuckled, "Of course. Actually her and Tyler are going to hang out more often and I'll be doing the same with Kevin and Randy. We thought it'd be nice to separate every once in a while."

My eyes widened, "Really?"

Liv came back down and she had a baby doll in her arms.

"Dani asked for some green tea. Her baby is sick." She said to Daniel.

He started to make it and she noticed my mothers. "Oh my goodness. Danielle, Tyler, you're back."

They chuckled and Mama T said, "We are. I'm glad to see you and Dani are playing house."

Liv glanced down and chuckled, "Thanks but I think she'll be more happy to see you guys."

Liv went back upstairs once Daniel handed her the tea and I went to hug my mothers.

A woman came in and Daniel went to the register to help her.

I glanced over and said, "How many bets he's going to get hit on."

My mothers looked between each other.

"That customer's a regular." Mama D stated.

We then all listened to their conversation.

Daniel started, "Good Afternoon how can I help you?"

She rubbed her neck and said, "Firstly I would love your number."

Both my mother's eyes widened and I chuckled.

He then said, "I am engaged so I can't do that but I'm sure one of our drinks can compensate for that."

She pouted before ordering.

Then we heard "Mamas!"

Dani ran up and they both hugged her.

I went to Liv and wrapped my arms around her.

She smiled and did the same.

"I...I love you." I said softly.

Her eyes widened and I looked down.

She picked up my face and I looked at her. She kissed me and I smiled against her lips.

"Ew!" We heard Dani say.

We pulled back and we were both chuckling.

"I love you too. So much." She said with a smile.

I hugged her and everyone was happy in that moment.

I wanted it to stay this way.
