Talia

We we immediately left from the restaurant once we got the call from my mothers.

I remember the feeling of my heart just completely sinking when they tried to explain what happened.

I was in shambles on the drive back, I couldn't even speak about what I was feeling because I was in so much stress.

Liv had been comforting but I knew she was just as worried as I was. I just stared out the window the entire ride. She drove as fast as she could.

Upon our arrival I could see that the window was being boarded up. I quickly went into the cafe. Mama D was sweeping.

She saw me and dropped the broom. She came over and hugged me tight, "I'm so sorry."

I cried again. I didn't know what I was going to do if I didn't get her back.

Liv came in and Mama T came over.

We all sat down and I said, "What happened? How did they take her."

Mama D sniffled, "We think Dani woke up from a nightmare and went downstairs to get water." She wiped her eyes "And they threw bricks in to shatter the window. We heard and woke up immediately. We got out of bed and then we heard a scream."

My tears started again.

She continued, "And we grabbed the bat and went downstairs and they were dragging her into a van.

We ran after her and got close to the car but they pulled off and our car wouldn't start. They took our battery out."

I covered my eyes, "Did you tell Randy."

Mama D then said, "Yes. He said he'd launch an underground investigation and he's sent officers out to start searching. But we found this note on one of the bricks."

I took it and I read it:

'What a pretty little girl. I have friends who are going to have fun with her. Don't even bother looking for her. I'll teach you, all of you.'

I covered my mouth, "They're going to traffic her."

Liv took the note. She stared at it and then pulled out her phone.

"What are you doing?" Mama D asked.

She then said, "I have a love letter my ex, Cole wrote to me. Talia helped me kick him out. I think this is his handwriting."

Mama D took her phone and compared the two, "It is his handwriting."

I immediately got angry, "Your ex took my daughter!"

Mama T shook her head, "Talia it isn't her fault."

Tears welled in my eyes, "I trusted you. I brought you into my home Olivia!"

She had a soft expression, "Talia I swear I didn't know he was this crazy."

My blood was boiling, "Where the hell is my daughter."

She was just quiet. She looked away from me and I could see her wiping her eyes. I was too blinded by rage to care.

Mama T then motioned to me, "Talia we will get Dani back. I promise."

I sat back down and Olivia said, "I never thought he was capable or doing something this horrid. I'm so sorry."

Mama D grabbed her hand, "Olivia this isn't your fault but you're the only one who can give us an idea of where she could possibly be."

She did a soft sigh, "I don't know where she could be. I genuinely didn't think he was this crazy. But if it was multiple men then his band mates could be helping him. I know their names."

We took time to look the names up and two people in his band had charges of sexual misconduct, both charges with statutory rape and one of them with pedophilia.

I just got even more upset, "He was in a band with pedophiles and you didn't know?"

Olivia looked to me, "I didn't think they were pedophiles. I have never even said anything more than a hello to them in passing."

I hmm'd, "So you just didn't think at all then huh?"

She was quiet.

Mama D cut in, "Talia."

I looked at her and she said, "The words you're saying can never and will never be able to be taken back. You love Olivia and once you find Dani you will still love her. But she might not love you and it will break you even more. Stop it this instant."

I was just quiet. Sadness just fell over me again and I started to cry slowly.

"They're going to rape her. Every day that goes by is another day that Dani could be in danger. Ma we have to find her, they'll take away her innocence, her mind will never be the same. I don't care how we do it. I need her in my arms." I pleaded.

They looked at each other and Mama T did a short sigh, "I'll call her."

I was confused. Mama T picked up her phone and it rung.

I then heard my grandmother, "You know I woke up with a bad feeling Tyler."

Mama T sniffled, "Some men broke into the cafe and took Dani around 10 last night. We need your help."

Grandma Nelly hung up and Mama T put the phone down.

I just frustratedly placed my hand on my forehead, "Can someone please tell me why we called my elderly grandmother."

Mama D did a short sigh, "Do you want the long and detailed answer or the short answer."

I then said, "Short please."

Mama T then said, "Nelly is a retired serial killer."

I just covered my eyes, "Please guys, I can't with the jokes. My head is already throbbing."

Mama D folded her arms, "No one is joking."

I just sat back and looked to them. Assessing them to look for hints of this being a lie.

I did a short sigh, "Ok...I guess. But what is she going to do against four, possibly five grown men."

Mama D began to search something on her phone and Mama T rubbed her forehead, "Kill them, as much as I would prefer to see them imprisoned we don't have a lot of time."

I couldn't believe this.

Mama D slid her phone to me, "She killed my ex boyfriend and his brother right in front of me when I was kidnapped. Here's the story."

We both looked through the article and I sat in shock.

Liv then said, "Talia...I think they're serious. So...she's actually going to kill him?"

I stood up, "I don't care who dies. I need my child."

I went to the steps and went upstairs to cry in my lonesome.
