I sat on the edge of Mama D's bed as she did my hair. She was putting my hair unto a braided bun.

Mama T was sitting on the other side of the bed with Dani.

"It sounds like a date." Dani said.

I shrugged, "Well I don't think it's a date. I think she really wants to thank me."

Dani whined, "Does it have to be tonight, it's going to thunderstorm."

I glanced at her through the mirror and Mama T said, "It's ok. If the thunder scares you tonight you can come sleep with us."

Dani looked sad and she just folded her arms.

Mama D finished my hair and I said, "I'll make it up to you Dani. The next thunderstorm you can sleep in my bed alright."

She nodded softly.

I looked at my phone and said, "She's outside."

I hugged them all and gave Dani a extra long hug with many cheek kisses.

She then whispered, "Can I start calling you Mom soon?"

I kissed her forehead, "Yes, whenever you feel comfortable alright. But just let me know. If you do it randomly I'm going to gasp and pass out like this."

I faked passing out she laughed and fell on the bed with me.

"What if I don't tell you!?" She said, climbing on me.

I gasped and said, "You want me to pass out?"

She laughed and shook her head.

I kissed her cheek, "Are you going to get through this thunderstorm?"

She nodded and hugged me.

I stood up, "Good. I will see you later."

I kissed all over her face and she laughed. I put her on the bed and she snuggled with Mama T who looked really happy.

Mama D did as well as she walked me downstairs.

"You don't know it but you're changing her life Talia. If you start becoming a mom now you can't back out." Mama D said softly.

I nodded softly, "I know. I promised I'd do it this time."

She patted my back. She walked me out to the car and I got in the passenger's seat.

Liv was in a beautiful dress. Mama D waved me off and Liv waved at her.

She drove off and her first remark was, "You look handsome."

I was wearing a black turtleneck with a gold necklace and some khakis.

"Thanks, I tried to get as close to semi-formal as possible." I said.

She raised a brow, "No glasses?"

I shook my head, "No, I put on my contacts. Did you want me to put my glasses on instead."

She shook her head and said, "No, I'm just excited to get to know this version of you too."

Oh. Well hopefully I don't flirt too much.

I glanced at her, "I meant to say that I liked your dress."

She smiled softly "Thank you."

She drove for about twenty minutes and we made it to the restaurant. She had a reservation and we were seated immediately.

They gave us menus and complimentary waters.

She then said, "I'm only going to have one glass of wine since I'm driving but you can have whatever you want."
