Harry fell back onto his sofa, curling up with a blanket over him. He turned the TV on, tossing the remote somewhere on the sofa as he checked his phone.
Harry: everything worked out with Jake :)
Louis: awe that's great, I'm glad. He
admitted he was in the wrong,
right? xHarry: yeah he did x
Louis: good, just make sure he doesn't
walk all over you. Remember you
deserve the best xHarry smiled down at his phone, feeling warmth course through him at Louis's message.
Harry: he won't don't worry, thank you.
Goodnight :) xLouis: goodnight x
Harry placed his phone on the side of the sofa, closing his eyes and pulling the blanket further around himself.
Soon enough he drifted off, chin dropping to his chest and arms wrapped around himself.
In the morning he awoke to a loud knocking on the front door and he startled. He looked around, frowning as he realised he was in the living room.
Standing up and stretching, he trudged over to the front door, opening it up.
"Morning, I was driving past on my way to work and remembered your car is in the garage. Wondered if you wanted a lift?" Louis beamed.
"Work?" Harry asked groggily, "time is it?"
"God, don't tell me you just woke up." Louis smiled sympathetically.
"No?" Harry winced.
"It's 7:30. You ought to get ready." Louis laughed softly.
Harry groaned, running a hand through his hair. "Um, don't worry about the lift, I can walk."
"You'd be very late." Louis raised an eyebrow. "I can wait here if you want. I can amuse myself."
"I'll be quick." Harry spoke, "um, help yourself to tea or coffee or something."
"Did you fall asleep on the sofa?" Louis looked through the living room door, seeing Harry's little sofa nest.
"Yep, somehow. I didn't set an alarm or anything, that's why I woke up late."
Louis laughed softly, "go get ready and I'll make you breakfast. What do you want?"
"Oh, you don't have to do that. I can just grab a banana or something on the way out."
"I'm used to looking after my sisters, it's not a big deal." Louis waved his hand, "what do you want then? And tea or coffee?"
"Um, porridge would be okay, just with some berries and syrup or something. Whatever you find easiest." Harry shrugged, pausing as he caught sight of his reflection in the microwave. "Oh god!" He gasped.
"What?!" Louis exclaimed in the same tone.
"I look frightful, I'm so sorry!" He covered his face, "um, and tea please." And Harry scurried off, leaving behind a bewildered Louis.
"You don't look frightful by the way!" Louis called out after him as he began to look around the kitchen for the right supplies.
Once he'd made breakfast he placed it on the table, sitting down with his own cup of tea. Harry emerged a minute later with a grateful smile.
