Allison Hall
It's been a couple of weeks. Today is my doctor's appointment! I'm 12 weeks now! I'm so excited! Nathan and I have kept the whole engagement thing on the down low. His mom, sister, niece, and nephews know. I haven't told momma yet because we are having a dinner for my family and his tonight!
I'm starting to show. It's just a small bump! It just looks like I've quit working out and gained weight in my stomach. It's cute though! I haven't showed Nathan yet! I've been living at home with momma until next week. He has been super busy at work that he told me that he didn't want me staying out there alone! We agreed on that!
I have to go to school today which sucks, but later will be the highlight of my day! My appointment is at 3:30. Nathan's going with me!! We get to hear our baby's heartbeat!! That just brings a bigger smile to my face!
I dressed in blue jeans and a button up long sleeve blouse. I did put on a white camisole underneath my blouse. I added my sparkly Tom's and headed downstairs. My mom was sitting at the table when I came in. She looked up at me and her face lit up.
"You are showing!" She grinned!
I looked down and my stomach. I didn't want it to be that obvious at school! "Honey don't frown! All that matters is that you and Nathan are happy!" She says laying her hand on my small bump.
"I guess you are right momma!" I smiled up at her!
She smiled back and said, "I got your breakfast and prenatal vitamin laid out over there! Go eat!" She shooed me.
I downed my pill and ate everything on my plate. I placed my plate and glass into the sink. I went over to momma and kissed her cheek. "Love you!" I say.
"I love you too baby!" She says.
I smiled at her then walked into the living room to grab my things. I go outside and get into my car. I drove to school jamming to the radio. When I got to school, I pulled into my normal spot! The girls were waiting for me by the picnic table. I got out and went over to them.
I guess it's time to tell them about the engagement because I haven't taken the ring off of my finger. I do miss Nathan! He's mad at me because one minute I'm all over him and the next I don't want him around! It's these hormones.
"Hey Girl!" Julie says giving me a hug!
"Hey! Guys!" I hugged her back then hugged Kaitlyn!
I pulled away and placed my left hand in front of me. Their eyes went wide!! "O-M-G!!! He proposed!!' Julie half yelled!
"Yes!" I smiled. Kaitlyn grabbed my hand and examined the ring! "Dauymn! That's a rock!" I busted out laughing! She never cusses! She actually sounded quite ghetto!
Her face burned bright red, once she realized why we both were laughing. I felt my phone vibrate, indicating I had a call. It read, My Sweetheart :).
