Chapter: 9

Allison Hall

Shopping wore me out! My feet hurt and are starting to swell. I thought that Cassie and Mrs. Kay were going to buy up the whole flipping store today! They wouldn't even allow me to pay for a thing. I don't know why they do that!

I have my feet propped up on the ottoman doing homework for school. I have a little bit of English to do and some math. When I get done with the homework, either I take it to the teachers or they come by and get it. It's the same way with tests, but most of the time they come to me. It actually helps out. Of course the teachers know about my condition, my doctor told me that it's best to tell them.

I'm pretty sure most of the school knows about me being pregnant, thanks to Justin. We use to be great friends until he starting going Psycho! I wonder what his mom thinks about this? I don't even know if she knows what he's done. I know that my mom has wanted to talk to her. She actually did talk to her that day at the hospital but she didn't have the heart to tell her about Justin. She knows that I'm pregnant and that I almost lost the baby.

When my homework was done, I went into the bedroom to put up my new clothes. There was about 10-15 sacks on top of my bed. I had to laugh out loud! They insisted on buying all of this for me! I know for sure that I'm not going to run out of maternity clothes anytime soon during this pregnancy! I had many pairs of jeans. They look just like blue jeans but with a sweatpants type band around the waist. I even had to buy some new bras. Thanks to pregnancy my boobs have gotten a lot larger! I cut the tags from the white, lacy bra I got. I slipped off my shirt, tank, and bra. I took the new bra and slipped it on. Ah! Much better! I felt a lot more squished in that other one. I was about to have to start wearing a sports bra soon, if I didn't get those new ones today!

I slipped on one of Nathan's v-neck shirts and a pair of my Soffe shorts. I've already had my shower when I got home from shopping. I went into the kitchen to start cooking something. Nathan will be home soon.

I ended up making hamburgers! I added cheese on top of a couple of the patties. Sometimes Nath likes cheese and sometimes he doesn't! He so indecisive at times! I cut up the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions and put them on a plate. I heated up the buns and placed everything on the table. All I have to do is wait for him to make it home.

I heard the door unlock and Nathan appeared into my view. "Hey Honey!" He said kissing my cheek.

"Hey! I made dinner." I said, motioning to the table.

"Thanks baby! I'm starving!" He walks over to me and connects his lips to mine. It was just a short kiss, but any kiss of his is amazing!
