I was upset when King Kamau said the wedding would be held in two months, unfortunately I hold no authority here, so I can't official build the bridge that will connect our land yet. We could sign joint property and concurrent ownership papers, but the council won't allow it until we hold a ceremony.
Old fucking pricks.
But after talking to him, I've seem to calm down?
That never happens.
When im angry or upset I have to isolate and wait for the flames to die down.

But he seemed to snuff it out.

Even that outburst earlier was quite funny.

It made my agitated state bubble into a calm wave.

Most people are surprised by my height, but it's usually a concealed reaction, like their eyes go wide, not a full outburst.

I actually laughed.

Before Sansa and Selkie went into their rooms, they asked if I would be okay alone with King Kamau.

I said yes.

Because I had planned to use my quhal on him.

So when I told him goodnight, I got what I needed.

Name: Kamau Cian Alteus
Height: 6'8
Type: Human
Quhal: Vine generation, stem manipulation
Status: King of Beluson
Siblings: none
Parents: retired to farm lands
Threat assessment level: 7
Judgment: strong/nice/safe

Good.

I mean I never thought he was an evil threat or anything.

I was just, curious.

- of who I was marrying.

I close the door with a click and take in the sight in front of me.

This room is quite beautiful.

Shiny black trim plastered onto the dark grey walls. Floor to ceiling pillars wrapped in vines,
a huge bed with different hues of grey covering it. The fluffiest pillows I've ever felt. The silk sheets rubbing against my skin and the moonlight shining against my face, peaking through the dark reddish-brown curtains.

I'll sleep like a baby tonight.

"Queen Circe"

I hum while chewing.

"I was uh, wondering." King Kamau hesitates.

I'll wait. I'm patient

After fumbling on his words for awhile,

"What happened to your eye." He finally lets out.

Rakia coughs on her drink.

Levos clears his throat.

Kolvar does a dramatic gasp.

I look over to see Selkie openly gawking at King Kamau.

And Sansa's silverware abruptly clanks.

I'm stifling back a laugh right now.

I may be slightly eviler than most, but I know when something's funny.

And this story is quite funny.

Keeping this demeanor all day can be exhausting.

Shall I have some fun?

I've been here for two weeks.
King Kamau has been, quiet.
Is he, shy?
Well at least he was.
It seems he's finally let his curiosity get the best of him.

"An.. altercation" I say while taking another bite of this delicious breakfast.

"An altercation?" He says anxiously.
