HYDRA

Surprisingly my Dad wasn't home when I got there. I didn't feel like fighting crime for once so I just laid on the ground in the spare room for no reason. I woke up to my Father coming home at 3am. I sat up realising there is other people here also. I look out the window and see a car, minivan, bus? Outside. Shit. I hate to say this but I think I need help.

'Hi Harvey, these are some friends of mine they are going to take you with them, after losing test subjects they decided they wanted you a little earlier,' I looked at my Father teleporting myself to Avengers compound. Great I'm on the run from Hydra.  I get to Avengers compound, why the fuck did I come here I hate these stupid people trying to make me trust them fools.

'Harvey, What are you doing here?' I turned around to see Mr Stark drinking Coffee think, excuse, excuse.

'Dad is still at work I didn't want to stay home alone, I hate you guys but, Since I am being forced to come back here anyway, may as well not be illegally home alone.' I said crossing my arms looking less angry than normal.

'Ok, well you can go to your room if you'd like,' Mr Stark said.

'He's stuck he won't be able to come home for a while would it be alright if I stayed here for a little while,' I said lying through my teeth. I was  speaking more angrily now making it clear I didn't really want to be here. I don't, I just think that between Hydra and the Avengers, the Avengers are generally, less torturous. I will never trust them though. If I have to go off the radar I have to go off the radar.

'Of course that is fine Harvey, you can stay as long as you want,' He replied before making sure I got to bed ok. I got Leo out before trying to shut of my mind again and go to sleep. I did eventually fall asleep thankfully but that didn't stop me from having a full fledged nightmare. I woke up crying. Calming myself down I declined Jarvis request to get someone. I looked over at the alarm clock on the bedside table. 5:48 am. I groaned getting up and not bothering to change out of yesterday's clothes.

'Friday is anyone else awake?' I asked hoping to go distract my mind.

'Tony, Bucky, Steve and Natasha are currently awake,' Friday replied. God why they all up so early.

'Where is Natasha, Friday ?' I asked. Bucky would ask too many questions, Tony is probably in the lab so hard pass and well knowing Steve he is probably going on a run so Natasha is the best bet.

'In the kitchen, Miss Lard would you like me to navigate you there?' Asked the AI.

I replied yes and followed the directions *badly* the robot gave me. I eventually entered the kitchen and saw Nat.

'Hi,' I said awkwardly very out of my normal manor.

'Harvey?' She replied in a confused tone trying to locate me.

'Morning Ms Natasha,' I said speaking in a I hate you but I'm in class tone as I internally gagged at myself.

'What are you doing here? are you alright?' She questioned. I jumped on to a bar stool which I couldn't reach the foot ledge on.

'My Father is stuck at work again Mr Stark said I could stay here if I wanted, I didn't know where else to go,' I shrugged I wasn't sure if she bought it, she is an assassin.

'Again? What did you do last time?' She asked.

'I didn't do anything Dad gets stuck places all the time, I have someone I am supposed to call when he doesn't get back, but I don't like them much.' I replied god lying is not a good look on me, not to mention I don't like it.

Natasha gave me the disappointed mother look after that.

'What? It's not like I talk to my Dad when he is home anyway, I don't need his help, besides CPS has never suspected something off,' I said defending myself now half yelling, my only emotion is anger.

'Harvey?' I heard another voice questioning again. I spun around to see Bucky. I smiled. What is wrong with me, I genuinely smiled.

'Hi Bucky,' I said.

'What are you doing here?' He asked.

'I am not explaining again, but I'm going to stay here for a few days, until Friday indefinitely,' I stated impatiently.

'I thought you hated us.' He teased.

'I absolutely do, but it's better than being in an empty house for three days.' I defended. I do still despise them but being here beats being Hydra's experiment.

'Alright then, do you want to come train with me, work on diminishing some of that anger.' He said teasingly.

'Do I look like I am angry James.' I replied in a 'I want to kill you' tone.

'You did a really good job of proving Bucky's point there Harvey,' Natasha said looking at me. I death glared her.

'Before you go train you should eat Harvey, Bucky and Steve already ate.' Nat said.

'No thanks, I ate around three hours ago before coming here.' I said.

'You got here at 3AM?' She asked looking at me like I was crazy.

'Yes, now I'm going to do school work there is absolutely no way your training me.' I stated as I watched the two of them exchanging confused looks before Bucky started walking out.
