Sharanya was still trying to sink in everything that had happened, when she felt Nikhil move close to her. He turned towards her, his arm gently wrapping around her bare waist. She turned her head to look at him. His eyes looked back at her. His gaze was soft, the kind that made her heart feel romantic. His breathing had settled back to normal.

His fingers reached out to steer away the strands of hair from her face, neatly tucking them away. Sharanya observed him in silence. There was something about him that made her breathing uneven, that made her heart thud in suspense. Or maybe it was just the feel good hormones working their magic on them. Yes, it was just that, the hormones.

She blinked her eyes in surprise, as he leaned closer and kissed her cheek. "Thank you," He uttered in a soft low voice, close to her ears. Sharanya felt her heart turn into a pulp at that sweet gesture. Suddenly, she wasn't bothered about her experience. It was so fulfilling to know he had enjoyed it.

Sharanya couldn't believe she was shy after everything that had transpired between them. She had no clue what to say. She was still sans any clothing, laying very close to him, with his arm thrown across her abdomen. The whole setting was making her feel giddy and weirdly she wanted to snuggle up against him.

"Did it hurt?" He asked softy. He had begun to feel nervous when she didn't talk. He was too occupied cherishing the fact that he didn't go limp before the final act. It was a normal experience, not a nightmarish one. Although he experienced a little pain and was uncomfortable at the start but a few ins and outs and he had an earth shattering orgasm.

He had never felt so relieved and confident of himself as he felt in those moments. In retrospect, he felt foolish for having tried to be intimate with a girl he barely knew just because he was infatuated with her. Trying to get laid with Maithli, his classmate in college, was a mistake, he'd gladly blame in his stupid teenage hormones that overstayed their time.

He couldn't help but feel lucky to have Sharanya. The way she accepted him made him feel good about himself, was soul-touching good. She didn't complain about anything. She was understanding and not demanding. She was soft and kind. Things became so easy with her.

However, as the feeling of bliss was wearing off, other thoughts began to bother him. Maybe he came too fast. It wasn't like he was in control. She was so freaking tight, and warm, and wet; he had never had an orgasm like that. It was like how waves hit the shore. Nothing can stop them, absolutely nothing.

"No," she said, grabbing a cushion to hug, so that she covered her chest.

He smiled as he noticed what she was up to. He looked at her with a sparkle in his eyes. He snatched the cushion away, a grin spreading across his face, catching her off guard. She gaped at him in shock. "Nothing, I haven't seen." He teased, his face inching closer to hers.

"Nikhil," she whined like a blushing new bride. The blush that coloured her face accompanied by the shy smile, filled him with sheer joy and satisfaction. He leaned forward and down, pecking her lips.

She looked at him in adoration, her hand gently caressing his cheek. His smile was so damn gorgeous. Why didn't this man smile more often? There was this version two of him, when he was with her, when they were intimate— carefree and fun guy who could flirt, whose hearty smile was the most beautiful thing ever, who could make her blush with a few words. Sharanya craved for that version of him.
