Sharanya had planned to visit Gargi. There was really no other way to make the stubborn woman talk to her again. She was in a bit of luck as Gargi was in an unusually good mood and just a sorry from her side was enough to set things right. The two of them had then got the other up to speed with the happenings of their life.
"That's way too much drama in your life, I am just glad that you and Nikhil will be out of the country in a few days. You both deserve some privacy to work on your relationship."
"Hmm," Sharanya responded absent-mindedly.
"Sharanya?" Gargi shook her arm.
Sharanya looked at her.
"What's bothering you? Aisha?"
"No, Akshu."
"The Goa trip thing?"
"Yes, she has barely spoken to me after that."
Gargi sighed. "What about Nikhil, how is he doing?"
"He's fine."
"Any moves yet?"
Sharanya rolled her eyes and then her lips formed into a shy smile. "We went for a bike ride,"
"Thank God, I was beginning to have doubts on Nikhil. What else?"
"What else?" Sharanya shrugged.
"I am telling you. You need to make the first move. My baby will be five by the time Nikhil makes the first move." Gargi muttered.
Sharanya broke into a laughter.
"I am serious! DAMN Serious! I would be sexually frustrated if Arun did nothing in so much time."
"Shhh!" Sharanya shushed her with wide eyes.
"There's no one at home." Gargi replied. "On a serious note, you're happy with him, right? I mean there's nothing about him that's bothering, right?"
Sharanya smiled at her friend's concern. "No, he's nice."
"I have heard that a lot from you and only that."
Before Sharanya could say anything the doorbell rang.
"Who do you think it is? My husband or yours?" Gargi asked.
Sharanya got up from the couch, "There's only one way to find out," she said, straightening her kurta. She reached the door and opened to find Nikhil. She gave him a bright smile.
"Hi,"
"Hey," He said clearly surprised to find her opening the door.
"Let him in, Sharu!" Gargi spoke up as she watched the two of them just gazing at each other. Boy, they were finally giving her the vibes of newlyweds.
"Hey, how are you?" Nikhil asked approaching her. He quickly presented her with a bouquet of chocolates.
"Wow, if blocking Sharanya is going to reward me with this, I must ignore her often." Gargi joked plucking a chocolate.
"Shut up Gargi!" Sharanya said taking the hamper from Nikhil's hands and turning to place it on the side table.
"You want water?" She asked him.
