Your alarm wakes you up the next day. Oddly enough, you slept soundly the entire night. A full eight and a half hours, and you don't feel tired at all. Not only that, but it's the first day of the week that the sun is outside, shining bright. You check your phone, and notice a text from your mom. She says that she was called into work for an emergency, and she'll likely be gone the whole day. This is just your luck. The one time you could have an amazing, beautiful day, has to be the day for such a sad time. You go to your bathroom and clean yourself up, trying to make yourself look as good as you can. At around noon, you get a message from Vera, telling you that she's here. You take a deep breath and head out to her car.

You get in the back seat. Polly and Ze are in the back with you, Vera is driving, and Valerie is in the passenger seat. You want to tell them all that they look nice in their outfits, but you feel as though that would be inappropriate. Instead, you just say, "Hi guys.." They all greet you back in the nicest tone they can muster, and Vera drives off. You make a stop at Vera's house, because she took your clothes to her place, so your mom didn't ask you about it at all. You rush inside, greet Mr. Oberlin, and go to Vera's room to change. After you're done, you head back out, and you all head to the funeral home.

After a painfully long 20 minutes, Vera finally pulls into the parking lot of a fancy looking building. As she looks for a spot, you see Scott's van, and you immediately feel tears rush to your eyes. You manage to hold them back, and Vera pulls into a spot. All five of you slowly get out of the car. You stare at the ground as you wait for Zoe to get out behind you, and you shut the door. After another deep breath, everyone heads inside.

You continue to stare at the ground as you walk inside the building. You look up for a moment and scan the area, seeing who else is here. Surprisingly, you recognize most of the people around. You see three figures speed walking in your direction. A quick glance tells you that it's Vicky, Amira, and Miranda. You again avert your gaze towards the ground. They all hug each of you, and they start making small talk with eachother. You cancel out the voices though, allowing you to focus more on where Scott might be. You ask, "H-Hey, d-do you know where Scott is?" The girls go quiet and Amira says, "Apparently, he's in the bathroom. We asked the Wolfpack, and they said he's been in there as soon as they all got here." "Okay, I'll go find him." Ignoring any other remarks they give you, you set out to find Scott.

As you aimlessly walk around, you find the Wolfpack talking to a group of old werewolves you don't recognize. You assume that they're just family of their's, and you meekly approach. Archie notices you and smirks a little. He says, "Hey, there they are." He looks back at the old ladies and wraps his arm around you as you approach. He continues, "This is the one I was tell you about earlier, Scott's partner." The women turn to you and happily shake your hand, introducing themselves as well. One of them says, "It's very nice to meet you, dearie. We've heard good stories about you from these rascals and their grandma. We used to play bingo with her on Saturdays. Sometimes, we would even flirt with the staff at the home." They all giggle, and you can't help but feel incredibly nervous and awkward around them. You turn in Archie's direction and ask, "Um.. Wh-Where is.. Scott?" He sighs. "C'mon, I'll show ya." Archie excuses himself, and begins walking down the hall. His lighthearted face turns serious. He stops in front of a closed door with a bathroom sign next to it. Archie says, "He's in here. He locked himself inside as soon as we got here." "Okay.. I'll just wait for him." "Yup.." A moment of awkward silence ensues, but then Archie adds, "Thanks for coming, by the way. It.. Means a lot.." "No problem.." Archie clears his throat and walks away.

You sit on a nearby chair to wait for Scott. A small amount of time passes, and you hear the lock of the door click. The door slowly creaks open, revealing Scott on the other side. He looks down at the floor, rubbing his eyes. His head suddenly shoots up, and he looks right at you. His eyes are puffy, suggesting hes been crying. However, he puts on a big smile as he sees you, and he walks over. You both make prolonged eye contact with eachother, and you notice that this is the first time today you've really looked at anyone directly in the eyes. His smile starts to lessen, but is still very present. Although his face shows happiness, you can tell just by looking at the way he's smiling that he's faking it. You decide to go along with it though. You bring your hands up and cup his face. You tell him, "You look really nice in that outfit." He blushes and you notice his smile turn a bit more genuine. He replies, "Thanks. You look good too." You smile back at him, "Thank you. It took me forever to find something I liked." "Well, it was worth it." Scott's phone suddenly goes off, and he silences it. He says, "Well.. It's time to start.. Hold my hand?" He raises his hand up, opening it for you to grab. You grab it, and he leans in to kiss you. He rests his forehead against yours and adds, "Okay.. I'm ready.." You both walk down the hallway, and enter the main room together.
