The children have finally come down for dinner and the conversation quickly changed to a more appropriate one. Well at first it did... However, my face is still red as a baboon's rear. Hendrix keeps looking in my direction with a smirk like 'he knows something I don't know.'

What are you up to Drix?

My thoughts are abruptly interrupted by Orion squeezing my thigh. When I glance over at Orion his facial expression is mirroring that of Hendrix.

What is going on with these two?

Aphrodite's voice rings out above everyone else's which catches everyone's attention. When she says my name; my head immediately shoots up and my face that had finally went back to its original color is now bright red. Hell even my ears are probably freaking red!!

Dear Artemis please swallow me whole!

"I see.. Well Hendrix and Aspen have.. Uh finally.. Um mated." Aphrodite says.

My mortified facial expression has the entire table laughing at my expense. My face has now become more red than it already was. Can't we talk about something else more important than my freshly marked and irritated neck? That thought went out the window when Dimitri opens his big fat mouth.

"I'm more curious on who will be the one to have their vampire mark and turn her." Dimitri retorts with his neatly groomed eyebrow raised. All heads turn to Orion while I raise my eyes toward the ceiling. Orion coughs and makes my head snap into his direction.

"Why is everyone looking at me for?" Orion questions.

"Well son you are the one who's vampire gene is strongest out of you four." Thanos answers.

"Everyone else also has the same genes as I do. It doesn't matter who's gene is the strongest." Orion snaps back. I am assuming he doesn't like how they each can't be equals on the gene part. But, I can see where Artemis was coming from making three of the siblings have a stronger gene than the others; while Paxton's genes are equal. I mean all four will be crowned Kings of the Supernatural. Hendrix will be the Werewolf King, Orion will be the Vampire King, Dimitri will be the Witch King, and Paxton will be just the King of all Supernatural..... Right? I think that is what Artemis wanted anyways.

"Woah! He's just saying since you would be able to do it the easiest. We figured you would do it." Hendrix calmly says with his hands up in surrender.

"I mean Paxton could as well since he is equal. Dimitri could because well he's Dimitri. Hendrix could because they've already mated and it would make sense." Aphrodite responds.

"How about we let Aspen decide when she's ready." Dimitri growls out. This gets everyone's attention.

Uh? Has he lost his head? He never lets me decide what I want to do. Like this war for starters. All our heads snap back towards Dimi. If my head snaps into another direction before dinner is over I swear my neck will snap off.

"You feeling okay?" I say Dimitri.

"YES! WHY?!?" He whisper growls out at me.

"Calm down!" Thanos booms.

"It's because you never let me decide what I want!" I snap back at him.

Before anyone could say anything Sebastian and Landyn are slung into the dining room followed by the clacking of heels. We can hear Luke snarling at the heeled person(s). Dixon is in his wolf form growling. Dixon's wolf has now blocked the dining room entrance. When I see who the heels belong to I mentally groan to myself. Lisa flicks her wrist and Dixon's wolf yelps when lightening bolts hit his paws. Marissa flicks her wrist and Dixon's wolf is thrown out of the way. Orion is snarling at these two. Hendrix has ran to Landyn and Sebastian's side. Paxton has ran to his Delta. His best friend. Dixon. Thanos is holding back a snarling Paxton back.
