"People go but, how they leave always stays."

It has been a week since I have met Paxton. He's actually quite interesting as a person. I thought Hendrix was the friendliest...

I was wrong...

Paxton is the friendliest one. Which I figured would be hard when Hendrix is out of this world friendly. Hendrix and Paxton are taking me out into the backyard later to meet their wolves. Since I will still be babysitting the four younger children, they will be going out with me. I haven't seen any werewolves turn into their wolves before. Well, besides my best friend, so I'm kind of excited. The children are eating their lunch while I read a book on Tribrids. When they finish lunch is when we'll be going outside to see the two wolves. After fifteen minutes of reading, I decided to place the book back onto the shelf. I wasn't watching where I was going and turned the corner and run right into a wall....

A wall in the center of the hall?

I stumble back and drop my book. Looking up I realize that the wall I ran into was none other than Dimitri.

"I'm.... So.... Sorry!" I stutter out.

"Watch where you're going!" He growled out.

"I said I was sorry!" I say in a low voice. Where the hell is this coming from? I am normally nice and can get along with anyone. It has to be Dimitri because anytime he is around, I want to jump his bones until he opens his mouth. Then I want to break his neck, salt his bones, and burn his corpse. Stupid fucking tribrid. I go to walk around him when he grabs my arm and slams my back into the wall.

"Watch your tongue." He growls in my face

"You're seriously hurting my arm. You're going to leave a bruise." I cry out. My words did not affect this beast. The noise gets the children's attention, and their screaming has gotten Paxton and Hendrix to come down the hall to see what is going on.

"Let her go Dim!" Hendrix calls out. He lets his grip on my arm go and I walk off back the direction I was coming from with four shadows high on my heels. I still can hear the three other voice to an extent. The further I walk the quieter the voices got.

"Why? You can't grab her like that."

"You attitude towards her is making my wolf go insane."

"She's useless! She can't be our mate!!"

"Why? Because she's human? Have you forgot she turned Lisa's hair fucking purple! That isn't human!"

"She done that?"

"..... Mate....."

"She..... My mate!"

Out of the three here Dimitri and his words always hurt me the most. The harder I try to distance myself from him the harder it gets. I have the kids in the backyard when Hendrix and Paxton come walking towards us.

"Have you ever seen a werewolf in their wolf form before?" Hendrix asks. I shake my head no while looking at the ground. I feel a soft hand cupping my chin and my head is lifted up.

"Words love. Use your words." He says.

"Um no. Not really. Besides my best friend." I answer with my words.

"Is this best friend a guy?" Hendrix did a low painful growl. Shock enters my body as I hear how much pain is in his voice.

"Nooo! My best friend is a girl. She would show me her wolf all the time. She is honestly the only one I've seen change into a wolf." I mumble out. My answer makes Hendrix seem to relax again.
