Chapter 23: The Real Winner

Aly's POV
It's the starting of Season 76, and we'll have a game on Wednesday against NU. We're currently training na rin. Alam naman ni Coach ang about sa relationship namin ni Den kaya lagi kaming pinapartner. So it's ball throwing/catching na. Hindi ko gaanong nilalaksan kasi baka matamaan si Den sa pretty face nya. Honestly, I'm nervous about our game kasi magaling ang NU. Pero we're really traning hard so we'll play at our very best. Tapos na yung ball throwing/catching so pinagdrills na kami. My God. Nakaka-kaba talaga.

Den's POV
It's our game against NU today. We're the 2pm match before the 4pm. It's set 2, NU got the first set pero we're leading na. Jaja serves, I received it, set by Jia, then approached by Alyssa. Ang galing nya talaga. She scored against the 2 blockers of NU. Nakaka-proud. Haha! So it's 23-20, technical timeout by NU. Aww si Coach Roger. I miss him na! Haha! Well, he WAS our coach. Pero okay lang yun. Tapos na yung timeout then we went back. Service by Mich. Si Jia naman bago magserve si Mich, todo suporta. Haha, cuties. Then a service ace by Mich. wow! Again, Jia being proud of her girlfriend. Then service by Mich again. Then nung umaproach na yung taga-NU, Aly blocked it kaya we scored again. Set point na! Haha! Nakaka-kaba. NU's service. And a service error, yes! We won the set.

Third Person's POV
It's set 5, 10-12 with ADMU leading. Pero magaling ang NU. Kaya nakaka-sunod sila. NU has a score of 16 and ADMU has a score of 15. Match point na ang NU, and service of NU pero too bad, it's an ace. Kaya nanalo ang NU. The coaches shook their hands and ADMU went home with disappointment. They're at the bus magkakatabi ang mga magsyota. Then Aly talked to then.

Then Alyssa winked at Den.

Den: "Haha! *pinch Aly's nose* sige, pick-upan tayo dito! Haha." Hamon ni Den kay Alyssa.

Alyssa: "Ikaw naman, tapos na ko eh haha!" Nagisip na man si Den.

Dennise: "Kahit hindi ka MVP sa laro. MVP ka naman sa buhay ko." Then kiss sa cheek ni Alyssa.

Ella: "Talande!"

Lahat: "HAHAHAHA!!!" Tawa ng lahat.

Mae: "Shh. Quiet Babe, natutulog ako."

Ella: "ay, sorry baby. Sige tulog na!"

Den: "Sino na malandi? Haha! Jk lang besh!!" Tapos inirapan lang sya ni Ella.

Alyssa: "Shh. Sige na baby, tulog na lang din tayo."

Then they all drifted to sleep.
