Chapter 24: Graduation Day

Aly's POV
Grabeh ang bilis ng araw. Back to back champions kami, tapos graduation na namin. Pero may last playing year pa ako. Sa Thursday ang graduation namin and it's Tuesday already. Grabeh. And sa Saturday ang 17th monthsary namin ni Den. My God. Tapos na classes naming seniors pero ang mga hindi graduating may classes pa. haha! Anyways. Nasa dorm kaming lahat. Pero sila Bea, Therese, Maddie, at sila JiaMich ang nasa classes. Sabi nila magkwentuhan daw kami kasi nga naman hindi kami magkakasama. Huhuhu haha! Jk so nagkwentuhan kami. After 20 minutes of kwentuhan dumating na rin ang BeaDdiee, si Therese at si JiaMich. Then sumali sila sa kwentuhan. Nakaramdam naman na ako ng antok kaya nagpaalam na ko. Sumunod naman si Den sakin sa room.
Humiga na ko sa kama nya. Haha inagawan ko.

Den: "Uy! Kama ko yan!"

"Dun ka sa taas! Andito na ako eh!"

Den: "Eh!!! Ano ba!! Sige ka, ib-break kita!" Haluh.

"Oh, tabi nalang tayo." Tapos umurong ako para may space sya. Then tumabi sya sakin.

Den: "Bakit mo ko mahal, baby ko?" Napaisip naman ako.

"Kailangan ba talaga ng rason para magmahal? Pero sige. Haha! Crush kita kasi kakaiba ang ganda mo. Wala akong makitang ibang babae na may ganyang kagandahan. Gusto kita kasi ang bait mo, lagi mo kong naiintindihan at lagi kang nandyan para sakin. Mahal kita kasi, you're one of a kind." Hindi ko alam kung bakit pero naiyak ako sa sinabi ko. Ang swerte ko kay Den. Tumingin naman ako sakanya at naiiyak rin sya. Wow ang drama namin haha!

Den: "I love you so much, baby! Salamat sa lahat. Tara tulog na tayo. Ang drama natin." Natawa naman kami pareho sa sinabi nya.

"Good night kiss ko?" Tapos she kissed me. I responded agad. Pero after ko magrespond, hiniwalay nya agad mga labi namin.

Den: "Goodnignt baby. I love you." Then she kissed me ulit pero smack lang tapos she hugged me. TIGHT. Hindi ako makahinga.

"Goodnight rin baby, I love you too. Pero sana wag mo naman ako isuffocate." Tapos niluwagan nya na yung kamay nya. We drifted off to sleep naman na.

~Fast Forward~
Den's POV
My God. Graduation na namin. We're walking na papunta dun sa venue. Sayang lang si Ayel, hindi nya gagamitin last playing year nya. Before that, I took a selfie na of us. Ella, Aly, Reiley and me. Anyways, magka-holding hands naman kami ni Aly. Hindi naman ako makayakap sa arm nya kasi malulukot damit namin. Nakaka-excite pero ang sad lang talaga kasi hindi ko na makakasama teammates ko. Sila Coach. I'll miss them talaga. Pero at least, before I graduate naranasan namin maging back-to-back champions sa UAAP. Nakaka-proud lang talaga. Kasi I mean, as a team, we got the championship again. For myself, I got the Best Receiver award. And sa studies, of course, g-graduate na ko. May livestream naman yung graduation namin kaya mapapanood ng mga fans namin graduation namin. Haha!so, nasa venue na kami ng graduation namin. I posted a picture naman with a caption of, "And now we're walking." Ang sad lang talaga pero excited. Ugh, I hate mixed emotions. So ayun nagstart na ang ceremony.

Ater the graduation, I immediately went to my family. I hugged them and thanked my parents. They were so proud of me. It made me cry even more.

"Mom, Dad, thanks sa lahat. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for all your efforts." Then I hugged them tight.

Aly's POV
I'm so proud. Graduate na ko. But I still have one more playing year, I want to din naman kasi it's my passion. But sa dorm lang ako titira? Hayy, anyways, I'm with my family. They're hugging me and they're so proud. Even si Kuya Neil. Si Kuya Josh kasi at si Baby JM magkikita nalang kami sa Gloria Mari's sa Rockwell. Anyways... I excused myself from my family kasi pupuntahan ko pa sila Ella, Den, and si Kiwi. I went first to Ella.

"Besh! Huhuhu :( I'll miss you! *hugs her*"

Ella: "I'll miss you too, besh. Keep in touch ah?"

"Of course! Haha gusto mo pumunta kay Kiwi?"

Ella: "Ah, hindi na. Pupuntahan ko pa si Mae eh. I talked to Amy naman na a while ago. Haha! Tsaka magkikita pa naman tayo diba?" Then we hugged once more.

"Sige besh. Tita, tito, see you around." Then they smiled at me kaya umalis na ko papunta kay Kiwi and her family.

Kiwi: "Ly! I'll miss you!"

"I'll miss you too, but you have one more playing year pa diba? Kaya magkakasama pa tayo sa dorm."

Kiwi: "Yuh. Perow of course, hindi natin makikita isa't isa over the summer vacay." Then we hugged each other.

"Sige, Kiwi. See you around? Tito and Tita, congrats po!" Then they congratulated me too. Then I went to Den.

"Uhm. Den?"

Den: "Yes, baby?" Then I hugged her tight.

"I'll miss you, baby." I was crying on her shoulder.

Den: "Shhhh. Don't cry baby. I'll miss you too!" Then she wiped my tears away.

"We'll see each other pa naman diba? We'll keep in touch naman diba?" Then she just nodded. She was teary-eyed na rin. Then I hugged her tight. Good thing, light make up lang mga suot namin kasi I'm sure we'll look like a haggard kung heavy diba? Haha! I'll miss her talaga kaya I'm not letting her go, yet.

Den: "Ly, aalis pa kami. Haha! Don't worry, I'll keep in touch ah! I love you!"

"I love you too! *tingin kayla Tito Mike* Tito, Tita, congrats!"

Tito Mike and Tita Arlene: "Congrats rin sa'yo, Ly!"
Then I just nodded at them and went back to my family. Grabeh. But we have to go na rin kasi we'll meet pa Kuya Josh pa.

While, we're at the car:

Kuya Neil: "I'm so proud of you, baby girl! Congratulations!!"

"Thank you, Kuya!!" Then I hugged his neck kasi sya nagd-drive and si Mom ang katabi ko sa likod.

~Fast Forward~

Then we arrived at Rockwell na. I saw a good FRIEND of mine naman, who is Alfred. (a/N: sorry sa pag-caps ng friend, fredly shippers hehe) he congratulated me naman then he went back to his family who were waiting for him kasi nagkwentuhan pa kami. I cant believe this, I'm a graduate na! Then we saw Kuya Josh and Baby JM.

Baby JM: "Congratulations, Ate!!"

Kuya Josh: "Congrats, Baby Girl! We're so proud of you!"

"Salamat! Salamat! Let's eat na!"

Then we prayed our grace before meals and thanked God because I graduated na.
