Chapter 25: Say Yes

Aly's POV
I finally played my last playing year. Sayang 2nd place lang kami. La Salle got the Championship, pero I'm happy for my friends dun sa La Salle. Anyways. I'm a Psychologist na. And Den is still studying in Med School. Pero 2 years na lang matatapos na rin sya. Btw, 3 weeks nalang until our 36th Monthsary or 3rd Anniversary. Since naisipan ko naman na pareho na kaming graduate sa college, tatanong ko na sila Tita Arlene about my plan sa anniversary namin. Then I went to their house.

*ding dong*

Then Baby Mosh opened it. I smiled at him.

Baby Mosh: "Ate Ly! Hello! Come in!!" Then he hugged me. Aww.

"Hello Moshie. Are your parents home?"

Sasagot na sana si Mosh ng nagsalita si Jus.

Jus: "Mosh? Sino nasa pinto?" Then I saw her coming out from the kitchen.

Jus: "Oh, Ate Ly! *lapit and beso* hello! Upo ka."

"Sige, salamat. *sits down* uhm, Jus, andyan ba parents mo?"

Jus: "Ah, si Mom lang. Dad is at his work eh. Do you want me to call mommy?"
Then umakyat na si Jus to call her mom.

Mosh: "Why are you here ba Ate Ly? Haha!"

"Let's wait for your parents pa bago ko sabihin, Mosh ah?" Then he just nodded.

Mosh: "Nakaka-surprise naman dahil it's not for Ate Den."

"Haha! Well, it's about Den nga."

Mosh: "Can I know it na, Ate Ly? *pouts and baby eyes*" aww cutiee. Hmmm sabihin ko na kaya sakanya?

Tita Arlene from the stairs with Jus:
"Oh Ly, napapunta ka dito? *beso* well, Den is not here eh, pero would you like a snack?" Then they sat infront of the couch Mosh and I were sitting on.

"Ah, hindi na po. Andyan din po ba si Tito Mike?"

Tita Arlene: "Ah wala, Ly eh. He's at work pero sabi nya uuwi daw sya cause natapos nya na gagawin nya."

"Pwede ko po ba sya hintayin? Bago po ako may sabihin?" I know Den's schedule naman eh. And I know 3 hours pa sya sa Med School.

Tita Arlene: "Uhm, whatever it is, it's okay. Jus, handa ka ng juice na maiinom natin."

"Hindi na po, Tita. Mabilis lang din naman po ako dito after po dumating ni Tito Mike. It's about Den rin kasi. Its a surprise for her po, pero I both need your permission." Then biglang bumukas yung pinto. I thought it was Tito Mike pero si Den pala.

Den: "Oh, Ly! You're here pala!"

"Napaaga uwi mo?"

Den: "Wala na kasi kaming prof, tapos yung isa ko pang subject hindi natuloy kasi umuwi din agad yung prof kaya umuwi na ako. Why are you here pala?" Then she hugged me.

"Uhm. Eh. Kasi... (Think, Ly, think!) ah kasi ano, bibisita dapat ako sayo, kaso wala ka pala. Pero you're here na."

Den: "Yah. So, gusto mo ng juice, or anything?"

"Uhm. Hindi na. Baka pagod ka. Uuwi nalang ako. Sige next time nalang."

Den: "Hindi pa tayo nagkakasama gaano uuwi ka agad? And I'm not tired!"
