CHAPTER 29. I was Enchanted to Meet You

I prepared myself. This night is for Blaze only. I shouldn't think of anything or anyone else. Just him.

I came with Maddie and her parents. Andaming kwento ni Tita Marga tungkol kay Blaze. She's like someone who took care of him since he was a child.

I wore a red sleeveless dress. I just let my hair down. Si Maddie naman naka-light blue off-shoulder dress. She looks so cute.

Narating na namin ang bahay-scratch that, mansion ng mga Inclements. Ang laki, pre. Mayaman nga.

Fred, Gabe, and Vander's cars were parked and they stepped out as if they were some part of a teen drama.

"They're here!" I heard Keirah shout. She ran towards us in a pastel green dress with her hair up in a ponytail. She looks... regal.

Tangina naman tong mga kaibigan ni Blaze parang pinaglihi sa mga reyna.

She was followed by Katherine in her most angelic form wearing a white dress with lace sleeves. Her hair was tied with a white ribbon.

"Pumasok na kayo!" Keirah gestured.

Tiningnan ko ang mga kaibigan ko. Lizzie is in her sexy pink body-hugging fit. Mary is in a little black dress.

We followed them inside. Right. This mansion is made for parties. Kakapasok mo pa lang sasalubong na sa 'yo ang malawak na hall. There is even a grand staircase.

Like my guy friends' mansions na may hint of their origins, the Inclement estate looked like something out of The Buckingham Palace. Although, I also see some Asian architecture here and there.

I whistled at the huge chandelier above us. The golden lighting, the marbled floor, the antique vases, the grand piano... everything just screams elegance.

I knew they were rich but goddamn, I think he is close to Fred's family when it comes to wealth.

Inikot ko ang paningin ko para hanapin si Blaze. I can't see him anywhere though. Maybe he is still preparing?

We were led by Keirah to a table. It was bug enough to accommodate us.

"Holly?" Napaigtad ako ng marinig ko ang boses ni Dad sa likod ko. Nilingon ko siya.

What is he doing here?

"Dad!" bulalas ko. "What are you doing here?"

"We have an invitation," he simply said.

I just nodded. Buti pa sila nakakarating sa birthday ng iba. While they probably don't even remember mine.

"Are they your friends?" he asked.

I nodded again. Iminuwestra ko ang mga kaibigan ko. "Mary, Fred, Lizzie, Gabe, Vander, Keirah, Maddie, at Katherine."

He smiled to them. "Hello."

"Hello po," Keirah waved. "I didn't know he was your dad, Holly."

"Huh?" tingin ko sa kanya. Kinunutan ko siya ng noo.

"He's always around with a lady that looks like you on Blaze's birthday. Maybe your mom?"

Napakurap ako at tiningnan si Dad. "Really?"

He glanced away. "Y-Yeah..."

What?

"Blaze was always waiting for you to come with your parents," dagdag ni Keirah. "Kaso di ka dumadating. He usually gives them 3 invitations... Wait." She gasped and covered her mouth. "Should I be saying that?"

They do? I know my own mother hates me but I didn't know my dad would ever do this to me too. I feel...

"Where's mom?" tanong ko kay Dad.
