Event #1: Unfortunate Timing

"So, what do you think Alex?"

"U-Um, well......."

The St. Freya principal looked intently at Alex with a big smile on her face, hoping for a positive opinion.

The boy was looking at a flyer promoting some festival or event being held at the school in a few weeks called Stan Wars.

Alex was definitely confused at the random name, hell he didn't even know what the event itself even was about.

All Theresa had told him was that she needed to show him something immediately, thus leads them to this moment right now.

"Theresa, sorry for asking but, what exactly is this all about, and what kind of name is Stan Wars?" Asked Alex.

"Hm? O-Oh right sorry for not explaining! Well you see, the three factions of Schicksal, Anti-Entropy, and World Serpent will each nominate one of their own to represent their organization in a positive light by doing public activities, whether it be idol performances or interviews. During that time, many people will be casting their votes for their favorite of the three participants either from here where the event is taking place or online via the website." Explained the principal.

"Okay well, that explains what's happening but, why call it Stan Wars?" Asked the boy.

"Oh. Well I had a hard time coming up with a name. That was when Himeko walked by and said I should name it Stan Wars because according to her words, all the stans in the world are gonna be at war with one another voting for their favorite." Explained Theresa.

"What the hell does Stan even mean?"

"Stans are people on the internet who're willing to defend their waifus no matter what. At least, that's I saw on the internet."

As soon as Theresa said that, Alex just had a long groan now realizing that Himeko knew what she was doing.

'Of course she of all people would know what a Stan is.' Thought the boy disapprovingly.

"Well, if you're positive with the idea then go ahead with it Theresa. Have the three made their selections yet?" Asked Alex.

"No not yet, but they should be in the coming weeks before the event officially begins."

With that, Alex handed her the flyer back as he sat up.

"If that's all then I'll be heading back to the dorms now."

The boy bid the principal goodbye as he stepped out of her office and walked down the hall.

As he did, he would run into non other than Himeko herself as the red haired woman gave him a smug smirk before wrapping an arm around him and playfully poke his cheek.

"So how about it kid? You gonna 'stan' for me if I'm nominated~." She asked in a teasing manner.

Alex just moved her arm off him and gently pushed her away.

"You're a major aren't you? Then please for the love of god, respect my personal space." He said in an annoyed tone.

Himeko simply laughed it off and waved him goodbye as the boy eventually made it back to the dorms with no more issues after that.

The remainder of the day went by without a hitch as eventually Alex would go to sleep.

[TimeSkip: Four Weeks Later]

The dreaded Stan Wars had finally arrived as tons upon tons of people filled the main plaza of St. Freya, coming to support their favorite candidates.
