Event #7: Years Later

Apologies for being absent for a while but I figured I'd take a break for a bit.

Anyways I'm back to take care of three requests I was given over the course of my break.

First up is the first of a pair from requests from Djheat100 again.

This one being another Alex X Kiana one-shot, this time around taking place after the events of Everlasting Flames and Thus Spoke Apocalypse, where Kiana had matured a ton and became the Herrscher of Flamescion.

Anyways, I hope y'all enjoy.

For the moment, it seemed peace had finally come.

God knows what had happened to Otto, but all the events that had been taking place at Kolosten gradually began to go away.

Honestly, Alex was just finally glad to be given a break for once after all that had happened the past two years.

Void's awakening, Himeko's sacrifice, the whole fiasco of helping with Kiana through her depression, teaming up with Rita to prevent his sensei Raven from corrupting Arc City, escaping with Kiana from Schicksal's African Base and Kevin Kaslana, witnessing Mei once again become the Herrscher of Thunder and join the World Serpent, the whole saga involving the Herrscher of Domination, and most recently Otto's plans in Kolosten.

Needless to say, these last two years were hell.

Currently, Alex was assisting Theresa, who had been named as the next Schicksal Overseer, and Amber around the town for anyone who needed favors.

Eventually once all the citizens had been helped, the group stopped at a bench.

They all sat down and took a little break before Alex looked at Theresa.

"So, what now? With you being the new Overseer, I'm assuming your days are gonna be way more busier now than when you were St. Freya's principal." Said Alex.

"Hmm. I don't really know. Grandpa Otto was always so particular about how he went about his duties as Overseer so he never really shared with me anything. I guess we'll just have to see how things turn out. Don't worry, even as Overseer, I'll still always be with you and the girls." Said Theresa with a smile as Alex chuckled.

"Oh right. Alex, earlier today Kiana said that she wanted to see you." Said the new Overseer.

"Hm? Oh, well where is she right now?" Asked Alex.

"I believe she should be where the Hyperion is docked." Said Theresa.

"Thanks. I'll head there now."

Alex sat up as he bid her goodbye, with Theresa thanking the boy for his help before he walked off.

On his way, he came across and had small conversations with Bronya, Seele, Rozaliya and Liliya, and then Rita before he finally made it to the docks.

Up ahead he saw Kiana talking with Durandal, who throughout their time at Kolosten had been revealed to be the original Kiana that had been kidnapped years ago, in essence making Durandal and Kiana sisters.

It definitely was a weird fact to take in though by now it was well accepted, as Kiana and Durandal had gotten along already well before the whole sister thing was revealed.

Alex approached the two as he got their attention.

"Hey. You said you wanted to see me?" Asked Alex.

Durandal turned before smiling at Alex and immediately excusing herself knowing that this was a private conversation between the two.
