Night had fallen over Arc City as the city skyline was fully illuminated, brightening the horizon.
This sight was all too common for local residents, especially for Alex as he always saw it closeby since he lived in the suburbs nearby the city center.
Currently, the boy had spent all day hanging out with the girls over at the St. Freya dormitory which went as about he expected.
From Kiana and Bronya playing games, Mei preparing a nice dinner, to Theresa and Fu Hua trying their best to keep a drunk Himeko under control, needless it certainly was a very long day for the boy was he was mentally drained and seeing as he had just gotten off an hour bus drive back to Arc City, it was safe to say that he immediately wanted to go to bed already.
After a decently long walk, he'd arrive at the apartment complex he stayed at, breathing a sigh of relief as he was ready to rush in and quickly crash onto his bed and maybe even his couch if he felt too tired to make it to his room.
Right as he was about to walk up the steps, he heard a faint commotion going on nearby as it sounded like someone rummaging or struggling with something.
As much as he just wanted to ignore it, he knew it'd be extremely rude to do so.
Therefore, Alex opted to do the nice thing as he began making his way towards where he was hearing the noise from.
As he got closer and closer, the sounds now become more apparent as they were coming from the apartment's dumpster which just confused Alex even more as he looked at the time to confirm how late it was.
'It's nearly one thirty in the morning. Who the hell would be in the dumpster this damn late? Also, why the noise? How hard can it be for someone to just throw away trash?' He thought to himself.
Knowing he'd get no answers to his questions by just standing there, he'd approach the gate to the dumpster and after scanning his key card, the lock released and he entered the dump.
He walked ahead and spotted a few large dumpsters, some so full of garbage that they couldn't even close and others that were either half full or barely occupied.
Alex would hone in to make sure where the sound was coming from until he came across this one dumpster that was closed with the latched to keep it sealed on as someone clearly someone was banging at the exit.
"Hello!? Anyone there!? Please let me out! I got stuck inside!" Shouted the voice from within.
Again, this only served to further add to Alex's confusion at this extremely weird situation.
'Okay going to the dumpster this late is one thing but actually GETTING into one and somehow getting TRAPPED inside is bizzare. This person, whoever it is anyways, is clearly not right in the mind.' He thought.
A part of him though about turning back around and leaving as in his mind, anyone who was insane enough to do all this well past midnight was surely not a normal individual.
Despite the caution, he decided to just put that aside get this over with this as who knew how long it'd take until someone else came around here to help them out.
"Just hold on okay? I'm about to let you out." Said Alex as he placed his hands on the latch and with enough force, managed to get it open.
"Alright I got the latch to release. You can come on out now." He said as he backed away from the dumpster.
He then saw the top be pushed open by a hand sticking out.
It didn't take long for whoever was inside to fully step back out and onto the ground as Alex got his first look at whoever it was.
