Event #4: A Sudden Feeling

The following chapter is another one shot with my OC Alex, and this time Fu Hua.

"Well, we'll see you later at the dorms Alex. Bye." Said Mei waving at him, Bronya doing the same while Kiana just kinda scoffed at him but still waved to not upset Mei.

"Yeah. Later." The boy said as the four left the cafeteria and went their separate ways.

Earlier this morning before the girls had all left for school, Mei had asked Alex if she wanted to join them for lunch.

He had told Mei he'd go only if the other two were okay with it.

With Bronya's not really minding it and Kiana immediately being against it only to quickly change her mind once Mei gave her a scary glare, Alex had accepted the girl's invitation to lunch.

Soon the time for lunch came and went by and Alex enjoyed a nice meal with the three girls before they all left as the girls went back to class.

Alex, now not really having anything to do until school was over decided to walk around the halls and find the library to pass the time instead of just heading back to the dorms.

Along the way as he walked around, there was a sudden tap on his shoulder.

Alex turned around to see that it was non another than Fu Hua who had done that.

"Oh Fu Hua. Um, what're you doing here?" Asked the boy wondering why she was also out and about.

"Well, I am the Class Monitor for a reason. I'm supposed to roam the halls and monitor all the classes to make sure they're all going well and that nothing foul is going on." Replied the girl.

"Oh okay then. Sorry for asking." Said the boy.

"No worries. Besides you're lucky that you're just a civilian and not a student. Otherwise I would've given you detention. Still though, please don't walk around all willy nilly too frequently. It might cause some students to do the same." She said.

"Right. My bad. It's just that I was invited to have lunch with Kiana, Mei, and Bronya. Now that it's over, I kinda got nothing to do so I figured I'd head on over to the library to pass the time instead of just going back to the dorms and wasting it." Replied Alex.

Fu Hua had taken notice that Alex really only has the library to pass the time and really did nothing else.

Obviously she knew that he really couldn't do anything else since as a mercenary he had to wait until he was asked for his services which meant there were numerous days where he'd do nothing.

With that, an idea appeared in Fu Hua's head.

"Actually, I just finished my class monitor rounds so, why not come with me to the gymnasium?" Asked Fu Hua.

"You guys have a gymnasium?" Asked the boy.

"Well, it's more like a dojo since its primarily used as training for the hand to hand, non weapon based Valkyries like me. I go there to practice my hand to hand every morning before classes begin. It's why I'm always gone so early in the day." She explained.

Alex decided to go along with her seeing as it was something new to see.

Fu Hua then lead the way, Alex following as the two walked down a couple of hallways before the Class Monitor opened two doors revealing a decently spacious dojo, with the floor all covered in mats, presumably for sparring session, with numerous training dummies and punching bags to practice kicks and hand to hand combat.
