Event #3: Sunset Connection

Disclaimer: The following is a one shot chapter of my OC and Kiana Kaslana, a suggestion given to me by Alexcrack71.

As stated at the beginning of this book, non of the events in here are canon to Merc's Involvement.

Anyways, I sincerely apologize if I offend any Kiana X Mei and Kiana x Fu Hua fans.

With all of that out of the way, please enjoy.

"Look, I really appreciate all that we did today but couldn't you have picked someone else to join you on your day off?"

"No one else was at the dorms! I didn't feel like waiting for Mei to show up so I had no other choice but to take you!"

The sun was setting as a long day was about to turn into night.

Alex was currently driving back to the St. Freya Dorms with Kiana behind him in the passenger seat, hands on his shoulders.

Late last night, after miraculously not being involved in or causing any trouble for the past month, Theresa and Himeko decided to reward Kiana and gave her the day off today.

Obviously this excited the girl very much, so much so that she nearly had an all nighter that lasted up to four in the morning until Theresa finally had enough and warned the girl that if she didn't go to sleep that she'd immediately revoke her day off.

Kiana got the message and immediately went to sleep shortly after that.

She would end up sleeping through the entire morning and woke up in the afternoon.

After getting ready and dressing up, Kiana rushed down the stairs only to see Alex on the couch watching tv.

The boy told her that the others were gonna be out in an hour and Kiana just wasn't gonna waste anytime so she grabbed the boy's arm and essentially dragged him with her without giving him a single say in the matter.

Alex quickly gave up on going against it and joined the girl on whatever she wanted to do on her day off.

Needless to say the two had a very long day in Soukai City as they spent the afternoon playing many arcade games and getting a quick bite to eat at a restaurant.

As the afternoon passed by, the two eventually were ready to call it a day as once the sun was beginning to set, Alex and Kiana boarded his motorcycle and began the hour long trip back to the St. Freya dormitory.

The trip so far had gone by smoothly until Kiana tapped Alex on the shoulder which got the boy's attention.

"What is it?" He asked.

Kiana then pointed at a road sign which said that there was a rest area a few miles up ahead.

"Is it an emergency?" Asked the boy thinking that the girl needed an urgent bathroom break.

"No you idiot! Let's go take a break!" She said.

"A break? We're only a couple of minutes away from the dormitory. Why would we stop now?" He asked.

"Come on! We still have a little time to kill! Please!?" Asked the girl.

Alex sighed, knowing that he wasn't gonna be able to convince the girl otherwise.

With that he agreed and eventually pulled off the road onto the rest area as he found a spot and parked the bike.

As the two got off, they surveyed their surroundings and noticed that the rest area actually looked pretty nice as there was numerous trees, a park, and a little trail that goes around the area.
