Anna's POV
" happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Esme, happy birthday to you!" We all sang as Esme blew out the candles on her giant cupcake birthday cake. Not only was today Esme's birthday and birthday party but it was also the day that we were going to announce the new baby. I'm now three nearly four months into the pregnancy ( sorry, I time skipped to November 2nd) and no one knew apart from me, Jonathan and our parents. We found out that we are also expecting a little girl and we were planning to tell everyone at the party. We thought of a way that wouldn't be so obvious, we put a scan picture in a card for Esme ( not her Birthday card) and we were going to give it to her when we opened the presents from friends at her party which was of course Frozen themed. We vlogged Esme opening her presents from Jonathan and I, it was so adorable as she let Emilia open some, she is such a great big sister.
Jonthan's POV
I was told by Anna to go and get Emilia dressed in the outfit that was layed out in her room and Eduardo into his outfit too. When I walked into Emilia's room I saw a new sparkly navy tutu, white tights, a white top with 'warm hugs!" Written on it, a navy bow and a pair of navy uggs. Eduardo had a little outfit set out for him too, a blue and white checkered shirt, blue skinny jeans and his timberland boots. Why does everything have to be so cute when it's kid sized. Once I got both Emilia and Eduardo dressed I went down stairs with them both to see Anna putting Esme's hair into a water fall braid. Esme was dressed perfectly for the occasion too she had her blue tutu, white tights and her white 'let it go' t-shirt on. Just like Emilia she also had her uggs on. I can't believe my little girl is growing up.
* A few hours later*
The birthday girl had finished opening all of her presents from everyone so Anna passed the card to Esme who was sat on Erika's lap opening all of her presents. She opened the card slowly, she looked closely at the picture although it wasn't yet obvious to the gests what was happening. Erika looked at it and looked at Anna and I as if to say is this really happening? both Anna and I nodded. A huge smile spread across Erika's face. She could tell that Esme was confused so she pointed to the top where Anna's name was and said" what does that say?"
" Saccone- Joly Anna," Esme replied.
" And what number is that?" Erika continued.
" 12, 10,15" Esme then said. By now everyone was looking at each other as if to say " what is going on".
" yep and what does that look like?" Erika asked pointing to the picture.
" A baby!" She said smiling.
" read the card Esme." I then said.
" Dear Esme," she started. " Happy birthday gorgeous girly! This is a bit of a surprise for you and we thought it would be fun to announce it at your party. You are going to have a new little sister..." She then leapt of Erikas lap and hugged Anna and I tightly. I also managed to vlog all of this as we thought it would be a good way to announce it to the viewers. Erika thenpicked Esmes card up and continued reading.
"She is due in May. We know you, Emilia and Eduardo will make make great big siblings to her but please remember that we love you all so much! Lots of love Mummy and Daddy." Erika Finished. She then run up to Anna and gave her a hug. The rest of the party consisted of congratulations from everybody and giving lots of attention to the kids. Our friends new but soon it would be time to tell the friendliest friends.
