A/n: Thought I'd add this so you'd remember what the pool looks like:
Aimlessly floating around in sparkling water like a majestic sea creature was the best way you could think of to relax after such a long and eventful day. And evidently a really good idea, for it was now 22:15 in the evening and you were currently lazing about in the swimming pool with a green pool noodle tucked under your arms, and your mind doing backflips trying to decipher all the shit that happened in the past 4 hours or so. There was a lot for your tired brain to review and process, and therefore a lot you had to ask Keigo and Kirara, at some point.
For now you were content to swim around the apartment complex pool, lightly paddling with your feet when you felt like it and getting lost in your thoughts. The city skyline was just barely visible from where you were, but you got a decent view from where you were, although dark the sky was still cloudy and devoid of stars, the ceiling lights perfectly illuminated the galaxy image above the water. Whenever you looked up you could almost pretend that you were floating through vibrant nebulas in your own tiny corner of the universe.
That tranquill nebulous space was soon disrupted by a rogue planet hurtling through the delicate formation at light speed in the form of a winged man with way too much energy.
The thing is, you heard the patter of his sliders (he could've flown in and you wouldn't have noticed), you saw him out of the corner of your eye put his stuff down on the chair next to yours and you could just about hear one of the showers at the far end turn on and off. And yet, you were still caught completely off guard when instead of using the steps or sliding in- something a considerate person would if they saw that the pool was occupied by a person trying to chill- he proceeded to jump in while yelling, "WOOO!"
You had your back to where he jumped from, but it was obvious from the size and distance of the resulting slash that he intended to get as close to you as possible and probably did a cannonball. It was very effective, two consecutive surges of water splashed against your back, making you almost let go of your pool noodle and almost the entire pool was shaken up by the mini tidal waves that rippled outwards from where he landed.
Kicking your legs furiously, you span around to where he'd pop up but when you looked at the water you didn't see anyone above surface. Confused and slightly worried, you scanned the pool floor in front of you but didn't see the winged menace. You were about to call out for him but he quickly made himself known when he resurfaced with another surge of water, splashing you with as much water as he could.
"Good evening Orchid," he said, swimming around to greet you face to face and continuing to splash you.
You shield yourself as best you can and start splashing him back. This continued until you reached a little too far and almost fell out of your pool noodle. Keigo stopped his aquatic assault as you unwrapped your pool noodle and tucked it under your arms in front of you- such that you were kind of leaning over it as if it was a guard rail. You turn to meet him face to face and say with playful sarcasm, "Gee thanks for that. Guess even after getting caught in the rain today I still haven't had my fill of water."
