You didn't have anything to do again the next day, so you planned to meet up with Misaki and Kirara in the afternoon to prepare for the first day of work and stuff. As you were packing your bag and getting ready to go, you checked your phone for any messages from Keigo. There was no word from him, as usual. Unfortunately, he didn't say when he'd be back. This wouldn't have been a problem a month ago, when you two were just online friends, but now that you lived together...it was a slightly different story.

For some reason you felt strange going out. If someone were to find out where Hawks lived because of you- no, you would never let that happen. Surely it wasn't necessary to message him when you went out? You didn't last time and it was fine. Literally no villain or civilian would have any reason to suspect that you lived with him, and besides, you two had talked about about house rules and boundaries. Keigo had made it clear that you were free to do literally whatever you wanted.

There were no villain incidents yesterday and you were confident that nothing was going to go wrong today as well. This would be your first time being out after dark, to be fair it was winter, so any time past 4 would be after dark. Still, it was only dinner, with a few of Misaki and Kirara's old friends and you were looking forward to it.

---

"Alright Y/n, meet the gang!" Misaki exclaimed, her silver cross necklace flew up and her small heels clacking on the pavement as she skipped over to them.

"Hello I'm Y/n," you said as you followed her along with Kirara, who had her hands in the pockets of her wool trench coat. In front of you were three people, two tall and one much shorter. The slightly taller of the two came up to you first.

"How's it going," said the guy, with very dark blue hair, which was short around the sides and long at the top, covering his forehead. He had yellow eyes, oval glasses and wore a white hoodie under an overcoat. You nodded politely and were about to ask for his name when without warning, he reached out and shook your hand saying, "I'm Hibiki, it's lovely to finally meet you! We've heard a lot about you from those two."

"Tch, those two?" Kirara parroted and she stood next to him with folded arms.

"Yeah," he cheerfully responded, still shaking your hand, "And they're good things I assure you."

You were taken aback by his friendliness, but smiled all the same, "It's nice to meet you."

"Dude, you're coming off a bit strong," another guy with grey hair that was long, fluffy and parted at the side. He had light coloured eyes, two piercings on his right ear and wore a winter jacket with a fur hood. His comment made Hibiki laugh and instantly withdraw his hand, muttering a quick apology. Despite first coming off a bit indifferent to your presence, he still followed his friend's example and shook your hand with a warm smile, "My name's Kaito."

"That should be easy for her to remember," Kirara observed, "Isn't that right Misaki?"

"How true! Doesn't your roommate have the same name?" Misaki responded as she checked her hair in a nearby shop window.

"What?" you asked. Then you remembered the lie, "Oh of course yes, that's right. It looks like they have the same name. Funny coincidence!"

"Indeed," Kaito responded, laughing with you and gently squeezed your hand before letting go.

"And last but not least is Coco," Misaki presented a girl smaller than you, with straight brown hair and red eyes wearing intricately patterned leggings, scarf and gloves.

Coco took a step closer and reached out her hand, saying in a quiet voice, "Hi, nice to meet you."

"Likewise," you happily exclaimed and shook her hand.
