(Sorry for not updating for the week. Was feeling a little burnt out)

Midnight had just announced that first place is worth 10,000,000 points and you honestly felt bad for Deku, as he was the one in first. She then explained the rules.

"First years! These are the rules that you must abide by: the game itself will last 15 minutes. Individual point values will be added together and everyone will know how much they are worth thanks to your headbands. Swipe as many headbands as you can to raise your team's score. Stolen headbands must be worn from the neck up. So the more you steal, the harder it'll be to manage them. And another thing-- Even if your headband gets stolen or your team falls, you can keep playing until time's up."

The students began to talk amongst themselves and then Midnight continued to speak. "This is going to be rough. You may use your quirks as much as you like. But there are still many rules! Make a team fall on purpose and I'll slap you with a red card. You'll be disqualified!" She said. That last rule disappointed you and Bakugo, as you really wanted to screw over Bakugo. Midnight then continues to speak, "Now, you'll be given five minutes to build your teams. I recommend you get started."

You look around for a bit. You can't think of anyone, in particular, to join up with. You could join up with Deku, but you guys would be targeted first. Jiro seems to already have a team and so does Yao-momo. Oh wait, Yao-momo and her team are coming over to you. Also, it's not Yao-momo's team, it's Todoroki's. Iida was also a part of this team.

"L/N, you should join our team!" Yao-momo said.

"Yes L/N, it's a great idea," said Iida, "well have two powerhouses, nobody would want to try to attack us! They will also most likely be intimidated by seeing us charging them!"

Todoroki didn't say anything. You thought for a second and decided to join them. The plan is that Iida will be in front using his engines to propel us when needed. You and Yao-momo are playing defense. Yao-momo had also made roller skates so that we don't have to exhaust ourselves trying to keep up with Iida. Todoroki is on top and will be primarily attacking. You notice that Deku and Uraraka had approached your group and asked Iida to be on their team, and when he refused they turned towards you, and you shook your head and said, "Sorry guys, I really would, but you have the ten million, and fighting off all of those teams would be a huge drag."

They then left and Todoroki came up to you and said, "L/N, none of your quirks can defend a group, I suggest that you replace your portal quirk with a more defensive one so you can protect this side better."

"Well, then what quirk do you suggest I copy?"

"Kaminari's Electricity or Kirishima's Hardening."

"No and no. I don't want to end up frying my brain and I don't think Bakugo is gonna let me near anyone on his team."

Todoroki thinks for a minute and then looks at the announcer's box. You also looked over there and said, "you're not thinking what I think you're thinking, are you?"

Time skip:

An alarm blared, signaling the end of the planning time. "Oh, goody. It's time to get this party started," said Midnight.

"After 15 minutes to pick teammates and talk strategy, 12 Calgary teams are preparing to go head-to-head!" Said Mic.

"I see some unexpected student combinations," Aizawa said.

"Come on, everyone get your hands in the air! It's time for an arena-thumping UA battle royale! Let me hear ya scream!" Said Mic.

"I chose the three of you because we'll make the most stable formation possible," Todoroki said to his you and your teammates, "L/N's our left-wing. He can use his quirks to keep enemies at bay and disable their attack if needed. Yaoyorozu, you'll take the right-wing. Focus on insulation and defense. Iida, you'll take the front. We'll rely on you for mobility and physical defense."

"And you'll be attacking and creating diversions of ice and fire. Is that right?" Iida asked.

"Not quite," Todoroki responded, "when I'm in battle... I never use my left side.

You look at him confused and look at the way he's facing, you then see Endeavor, his father. "Ah, father issues. I can understand that," you think to yourself. You then get to your starting spot and Todoroki climbs the three of you. Once the game started, everyone charged Deku. You noticed the ground below him started to turn into mud? Impressive quirk. Deku's team then started to sink but then flew away. You notice that the pink-haired girl is from the support course, so they could have tons of gadgets. They landed and more people started to surround them. Mineta managed to get a ball under them and immobilized them until Deku sacrificed one of their hover boots(?) and flew off again. This time, however, Bakugo was chasing them. He had used his explosions to fly! Which is allowed.

Suddenly the crowd goes quiet. Present Mic even sounds confused. You decided to listen in to what Mic is saying "Hold on here. This is an unexpected turn," Mic said, "Other than Midoryia, Class 1-A isn't doing too hot. Even Bakugo is losing!"

This caused you to laugh. You then looked over to Bakugo and say that he was angry, and some blonde guy was making him angrier. He's your new favorite person. You focus back on your group. We're charging Deku. "You didn't forget about little ol' us did you?" You asked them and then continued to speak, "you are never safe as long as you have those 10 million points!"

"And now we've reached the halfway point of the game!" Yelled Mic.

Deku then sighed, "I thought we had made it. Guess I was wrong."

"As the cavalry battle enters its second half, it's anyone's game! Class 1-B has made an unexpected showing, but who will wear the ten million points in the end? That's the real question, sports fans!" Mic shouted as our teams stared each other down.

"I'll be taking that now," Todoroki said.
